Repr4aeutacive to the aae~esaLi...~ a....,~e„in+ --sold <br />like to report that Junior Womens Represesntative attended the last Recreation <br />Commission meeting and Junior Womens offered to donate a playground piece of <br />equipment which cost oaer $2,000. for the Rec Center back-area, the area that <br />the Jaycees axe worki;~g on: the Rec Coasissioa was overjoyed and accepted it; <br />2) as a mattex of record the Recreation Ccs~ission would like to know what <br />happened to the paving of the parking lot at Clague Park. Mr. Caster stated <br />we ir_i:er-d to pave it. Mr. West and Mr. Caster discussed the Recreation iasion <br />will purchase the material and the Service Dept. will do the work - it is not <br />forgotten; <br />3) Mr. West referred to some playground equipment for Clague Park which has been <br />sitting there since last October and has sot been installed: Mr. WesC asked Mr. <br />Caster if he could give a timetable as to when that might be installed. Mr. Caster <br />stated he will get back to Mr. West on this. Mr. West requested a letter so that <br />he can let the Recreation Commission know. Mrs. Beringer asked to be informed <br />as this being in her Ward she is concerned about the playground equipment also, <br />Mr. West asked Mr. Caster the status of the packer trucks. Mr. Gaster said the <br />bids were accepted - the packer trucks are at the body plant being mounted now - <br />would say we should get them within a week. <br />President Lampert stated he has been in contact with the Building Comaaissioner in <br />regards to houses that are being moved from the path of 1480: we still have in <br />one particular area two houses and requested Safety Director Koharik's assistance <br />in hurrying the State of Ohio with respect to these vacant houses. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Boehmer scheduled a Public Safety, Health & Welfare Cotmai.ttee Meeting on <br />June 27, 1977, 8:30 P.M., City Ha11; <br />2) scheduled a Legislation Committee meeting on June 28, 1977, 8:00 P.M., City Hall. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Finance Coas3ittee meeting on June 27, 1977, 7:30 P.M., <br />City Hall, to review the proposed estimated budget for 1978 and the attendance of <br />the Mayor, Finance Director, Service Director and anyone else interested. <br />Mr. West moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Beaty, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. <br />Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion <br />carried. <br />Mayor Christman asked if anyone had ~} sunshine report on Mrs. Gladys Zipp: she is <br />in the hospital - is sure she will appreciate a card. <br />Mr. West moved for adjournpent, seconded by Mr. Boehmer.
