Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Paul Farkas, 4506 Columbia Rd., addressed Council thanking the Administration <br />fox making the correction pertaining to the senior citizens. <br />Mr. Bill Wylie, 4384 Raachview Avenue, submitted to Council petitions with <br />respect to the extension of Tallwood Subdivision. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 77-55 introduced by Mr. Fairfield was given its third xeading. <br />An Ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted <br />to provide for the installation of stop signs at the "T" intersection of Berkshire <br />Drive and Alden Drive. Mr. Fairfield moved for adoption, seconded by Mrs. Beringer. <br />Mx. Beaty moved to postpone vote on Ord. No. 77-56 to date certain of July 19, <br />1977, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Reason: to be able to get xecamnmrndation of the <br />Safety Department on the advisability of a stop sign after a traffic covet which <br />will take two weeks; also to be able to go ovex both. petitions. Mrs. Beringer <br />stated she would like to comment that we go thru this every tia~ sae have a request <br />for a stop sign at an intersection: thinks this is ridiculous to prolong this any <br />Longer: thinks you are jeopardising the safety of the residents by prol it <br />and leaving it go until half of the Summer is over. Mr. Beaty stated it was in TraAS- <br />portation Committee and it was reported out on and recommended against the approval; <br />this is why the Transportation Committee would like to reconsider in Light of the <br />new petition.
