Council Minutes of 5-17-77 -5- <br />Mr. Jots Maloney, 24782 Arlington Lane, addressed Council regarding the <br />recreation grovmds at Barton & Bradley Rds. ands tsd City post signs <br />designating which is City property so that people can park their cars on <br />that available property. Discussion continued. <br />Mrs. Getmaa Szabo, 30837 Bradley &i. , addressed Council with x~sspect to the way <br />the cars park at the Barton b Bradley Rd. recreation area and offered suggestions. <br />Mrs. Madelyn Brookshire, 5144 Hampton Drive, addressed Council and explained why <br />the request for a stop sign. at Berkshire Drive 6 Alden was masted. Mr. Wilama-sky <br />asked if she were representing the t~oasoaners group: Mrs. Brookshire stated she <br />is President of the group and has consulted with people on Brookshire. Mr. Wilamasky <br />explained at last Council Heating Council was presented with a petition Eros some <br />of the residents on Brookshire who oppose the installation of a stop sign. Dis- <br />cussion ensued. Mr. West discussed the petition Council received and commented <br />on what can be done if Council receives a petition in favor of the stop sign with <br />more signatures on it. <br />Mr. McKean, 6023 Fitch Rd., addressed Caruncil expressing his thanks xegardag his <br />complaint at last Council Meeting. Discussed traffic control regulations and <br />traffic flow. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Zorn, 25600 Country Club Blvd., addressed Council with respect to having <br />senior ciCizens apartments in the City. <br />LBGISLAT'I~T t <br />President Limpert asked Mr. Boehmer whethex he intends to request suspension of <br />the rule on Res. No. 77-88. Mr. Boetuser stated yes. <br />Ordinance No. 77-64 introduced by Mr. Wilamasky was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing the issuance of notes in anticipation of the issuance of <br />bonds for the purpose of improving the recreational facilities of the City by <br />constructing a building housing an ice skating rink, swi~aming pool, tennis courts <br />and appurtenant facilities, constructing a toboggan slide, acquiring, developing <br />and improving the site therefor, and providing furnishings and equipment for such <br />recreation center and grounds, and declaring an ewer8encY• Mr. Wilars~aky ~aoved <br />for adoption, seconded by Mr. West. Affis~aLve vote: Boehmer, Fairfield, 5arnger, <br />West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ord. No. 77-64 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 77-71 introduced by Mr. Beaty was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance accepting an easement for a water main servicing the North Olmsted <br />Lbapgelical Friends Church located on the northerly side of Butternut Ridge Goad <br />from tt~ ~lorth Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church. Mr. Fairfield moved for <br />adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmex. Affirsative vote: Boehmer, Fairfield, Beringer, <br />Went, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ord.
