Lengthy discussion ensued between Mr. Wiiamosky anal Mayor Christman <br />with respect to funds within which the City must operate, allocation of same, <br />manpower, etc. <br />Mr. West referred to Eca~.ronmental Control Comdnittee's recommendation regarding the <br />Section 4(f) Statement: <br />Mr. West moved Council go on record a8 approving the xecommendations in the 4(f) <br />Draft Section of the Environmental Impact Statement on I-480 which states: "It is <br />recommended therefore that this Section 4(f) Statement is accepted and the proposed <br />highway improvement is advanced to completion as anon as possible." Motion seconded <br />by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, West, Wilamosky. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved to have the Law Department take whatever legal steps are necessary <br />to require various automobile agencies located on Lorain Road to cease from violating <br />the Zoning ordinances by displaying their merchand~.se within the SO ft. setback area. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Fairfield, Beringer, West, <br />Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />President Limpert referred into Environmental Control Committee report on phosphates aad <br />communication regarding pu~ap repair at Treatment Plant. <br />Under New Businesa: <br />Mrs. Saringer discussed ordinance with respect to cutting of weeds; if all notices <br />have been sent out: Mrs. Saringer has received complaints on two locations - corner <br />of Clague & Delmere and lot between Stoneybrook and Clifford. Mr. Caster has <br />received same complaints. <br />Mrs. Saringer asked Service Director Caster what she should tell people on Oxford <br />Oval with respect to trimming of trees - there are low hanging branches which are <br />a safety hazard: should she tell the people to trim these trees or will the Service <br />Dept. do it. Mr. Gaster will check into same. <br />Mrs. Saringer stated Stoneybrook Drive has two or three very bad sections: cars are <br />being damaged: would like a report from Service Director Caster when same will be <br />repaired. <br />Mr. Wilamosky discussed with Service Director Caster if notice is sent to the State <br />of Ohio with respect to cutting of weeds. Service Director Caster stated we cut the <br />weeds and bill the State of Ohio. <br />Mr. Wilamosky referred to discussion at last Council Meeting regarding the brush <br />and debris along the right of way of I-48O. President Limpert stated he had discussed <br />same with Building Department, etc. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Besty and Councilman Sharpe, <br />seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, West, <br />Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br /> <br />
