Lengthy discussion ensued between Mr. Wiiamosky anal Mayor Christman with respect to funds within which the City must operate, allocation of same, manpower, etc. Mr. West referred to Eca~.ronmental Control Comdnittee's recommendation regarding the Section 4(f) Statement: Mr. West moved Council go on record a8 approving the xecommendations in the 4(f) Draft Section of the Environmental Impact Statement on I-480 which states: "It is recommended therefore that this Section 4(f) Statement is accepted and the proposed highway improvement is advanced to completion as anon as possible." Motion seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Mr. Boehmer moved to have the Law Department take whatever legal steps are necessary to require various automobile agencies located on Lorain Road to cease from violating the Zoning ordinances by displaying their merchand~.se within the SO ft. setback area. Motion seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Fairfield, Beringer, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. President Limpert referred into Environmental Control Committee report on phosphates aad communication regarding pu~ap repair at Treatment Plant. Under New Businesa: Mrs. Saringer discussed ordinance with respect to cutting of weeds; if all notices have been sent out: Mrs. Saringer has received complaints on two locations - corner of Clague & Delmere and lot between Stoneybrook and Clifford. Mr. Caster has received same complaints. Mrs. Saringer asked Service Director Caster what she should tell people on Oxford Oval with respect to trimming of trees - there are low hanging branches which are a safety hazard: should she tell the people to trim these trees or will the Service Dept. do it. Mr. Gaster will check into same. Mrs. Saringer stated Stoneybrook Drive has two or three very bad sections: cars are being damaged: would like a report from Service Director Caster when same will be repaired. Mr. Wilamosky discussed with Service Director Caster if notice is sent to the State of Ohio with respect to cutting of weeds. Service Director Caster stated we cut the weeds and bill the State of Ohio. Mr. Wilamosky referred to discussion at last Council Meeting regarding the brush and debris along the right of way of I-48O. President Limpert stated he had discussed same with Building Department, etc. Mr. Boehmer moved to excuse the absence of Councilman Besty and Councilman Sharpe, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
