Council Minutes of 4-19-77 <br />-9- <br />traffic and would be used only in cases of emergency which satisfies most <br />of the requirements of the area: this is a case Mr. Fairfield thinks where <br />the City could be proud in the fact that they can satisfy all pa~tiea in this <br />and satisfy our Code too, and wishes to thank people thtitt participated in this, <br />including Mr. Boehmer, Law Director Gareau and City Engineer Childs. <br />Mr. West requested legiati~-n to advertise for bids for resurfacing.~of the tennis <br />courts in Clague Road Park, tai be on emergency. <br />President Lampert referred into Finance Committee contract to handle sewer bi111ng <br />as reported by the Mayor. Also referred Service Director Caster's request for <br />sanitary sewer legislation into Finance Co~aittee. <br />President Lampert referred appointment of Mr. William Prati into Legislation <br />Committee. <br />Mr. Boehmer asked Mr. Wilamosky if the Finance Committee has done anything <br />regarding recommendation for streetlights behind the Shopping Center which Mr. <br />Boehmer turned over to that Committee. Mr. Wilamosky stated the Safety Director <br />had retired at that time and the Mayor was also Acting Safety Director with all <br />of the responsibilities. Ae did give the Mayor names of some of the streets that <br />had requested streetlights for sometime. Mr. Wilsmosky stated prior to taking any <br />action on streetlighting at Great Northern Shopping Center he would certainly <br />like to look at other areas where strtaetlighting hae been requested for some years. <br />Mr. Boehmer requested the Finance Cotssittee to consider streetlights for Wallet <br />Circle which he turned over to Finance Committee sometime back. <br />Mr. West moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Sharpe, seconded by Mr. Boehaerr. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield, Beringer, West, Wilamosky. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mr. West moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Wilamosky.
