Couu...'_1 Minutes of 2-1-77 -11- <br />Resolution No. 77-29 was introduced by Mrs. Beringer and given its first res~_ag. <br />A Resolution. appointing an Asseasnwent 8qualization Board to hear objections <br />relative to the assess~sents for the Mill Road Sidewalk Im~rovemant, repealing <br />Resolution No. 76-150 and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 77-30 was introduced by Mrs. Sharpe and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution assuring the Federal Insurance Administrator and other governmental <br />authorities of the intent of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio to comely with the <br />amended regulations adopted pursuant to the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968, <br />as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 77-31-was introduced by Mrs. Beringer and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance amending Section 10 of Ordinance No. 66-121 entitled, "An Ordinance <br />to provide for the proper grading of land within subdivisions and to provide <br />for the drainage of surface water within the City of North Olmsted snd declaring <br />an emergency" adopted on May 4, 1966. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Boehmer referred to request by Mr. Shur for streetlights on Country Club Bivd. <br />which request was turned over to Finance Committee. Mr. Boehmer stated he has <br />received letter from Safety Director Carnahan stating Mr. Shur will pay for 15 <br />lights for 1 and 1/2 years and let the City take over after that.. President <br />Limpert referred same into the Finance Committee. Mr. Wilaffiosky requested a list <br />of streetlights which have been requested in the past, if such list is available; <br />also if any councilman has such a list to give eaaQe to Finance Cota~.ttee so they <br />may review the priorities of these lights. Mrs. Beringer stated she gave a list <br />to Mr. Boehmer and Mr. Carnahan and if the list cannot be found will Furnish a <br />list again. Mr. Boehmer stated he has the list as well as list from Mr. Beaty <br />and Mr. Wilamosky will receive same. <br />Mrs. Beringer requested the Finance Committee give serious cauaideration not to <br />give anymore streetlights to corcial establishments until the homeowners who <br />have been waiting for 15 years to get streetlights get their streetlights installed. <br />Upder New Business: <br />M~. Wilamosky requested a copy of expenses and receipts from the Rac Codex - <br />not estimated. Would like and up-to-date balance sheet along with sore type of <br />profit and loss sheet that Committee can look at and determine what direction <br />we are going. Would also like to request if at all possible, a list of all of <br />tl~e employees at-the Rec Complex, positions they hold, their wages - if they are <br />hourly - what the rate. is and average number of hours each works; a list of all <br />salaried employees; would like the expenses itemized without the lumping together <br />of two or more expenditures - would like a breakdown of electricity, telephone <br />and gas costs and not all lumped into one type of utility expenditure. Mr. Fairfield <br />feels this can be worked out - he has a preliminary list from Finance Director <br />Gerlach and Mr. Fairfield will lay out a diagram of all of the different expenses <br />he wants which is probably the same information Mr. Wilanmosky is requesting a~td <br />copies will be made for the Finance Committee. Mr. West commented that Mr. Bronder <br />has the income and does not have the expenses - Finance Director Gerlach has and <br />the Recreation Commission asked Mr. Bronder to report what he has and that is what <br />he is doing. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Beaty requested that the contract with the City of Cleveland with respect r.e <br />billing be looked into to see what the breaking of contract would entail; also <br />to look into a cost to see if it would be practicable for us to buy their meter. <br />
