A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bide for <br />traffic counting equipment fox use in the Engineering Degartm~t, and authorising <br />the Mayor to contract for same. <br />Resolution No. 78-i63 introduced by Mrs. Bariager was given its second reading. A <br />resolution not approving the Atortheaat Ohio Areawde Coordinatiatg Agcy (Nt3ACA) <br />recommended 208 Water Pollution ~at~eat Plan. President Lis~etrt referred this <br />resolution to Environmental Control Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 78-16l+ introduced by ~*r. Boehmer was given eta second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 77-111 entitled "~ ordinance establish- <br />ing hospitalization benefits for various city employees es~loyed by the City of <br />North Olmsted, and declaring an esuergancy. President Lampert referred .this <br />ordinance to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 78-1b7 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing and directing the Mayor to tekae application b the Cuyahoga <br />County Board of Commissioners far approval to use Cuyahoga County Motor Vehicle <br />$5.00 License Tax Funds for participation with the County in Che improveabeaat of <br />Dover Center Road, and declaring an e~rgeney. President Lampert referred this <br />resolution to Streets and Drainage Coaasittee. <br />Ordinance No. 78-168 introduced by Par. Logan was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending Section 1 of Ordinance No. 78-27 entitled "An ordinance establishing <br />salary ranges of individuals within the Departe~rent of Budget and 23anagement and <br />declaring an emergency", and declaring an emergency. President Lampert referred this <br />ordinance to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 78-169 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorising the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for <br />one (1) Sound Level Meter for use in the Safety Department. <br />Ordinance No. 78-170 introduced by rtr. Boehmex was given its first reading. A reso- <br />lution suthorazing the Director of Safety to advertise for bids for three (3) sets <br />of lights and six (6) radios for Police Cars for use in the Police Department and <br />authorizing the Mayor m contract for same. <br />Ordinance No. 78-171 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending the Traffic Control Map of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the <br />installation of taro stop signs, one stop sign to be located on North Court where at <br />intersects with Wedgewood Drive, and the other to be located an South Court wheeze it <br />intersects with Wedgewood Drive. President Lampert referred this ordinance to Public <br />Safety, Health and Welfare Conmd.ttee. <br />Ordinance ;Yo. 78-172 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance accepting for dedication the Birch Circle Subdivision in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 78-173 introduced by Mr. Cailamosky was given its. first reading:. An <br />ordinance exprassing cooperation with the Director of Transportation with respect to <br />the illumination of State Route l7 between State Route 10 to the east corporation <br />line, a distance of approximately 2.1 miles, all within the 'City of North Olmsted, <br />and declaring an emergency.
