Council I~i.nutes of 12/S/%8 -g-
Under New Business (Cont'd):
Mr. Beaty discussed a problem on Allendale where a ditch has progressed to within
three feet of an older couple's home. Both Mr. Beaty and the City Engineer have
been out there. The homeowners are concerned with the possibility of having some
of the work done by the City - in conjunction with the City - and having it assessed
to their taxes, which would take Council action. Mr. Beaty would like to seat with
the Engineer and the Law Director to see how feasible this would be and the proper
way to work this out.
Mr. Wilamosky asked if the Administration could answer the question of the mf.ssing
Council Chamber clock. Mr. Corrigan answered that he did not know what happened to
the clock but would investigate.
Mr. Boehmer moved for adjournment, seconded by Mr. Wilamosky. Affirmative vote:
Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
Pleating adjourned to the call of the Clerk at 9:SS P.M.
orence E.
