Can`t expect it to do all these things out of its own opera- <br />ting budget - to meet all thews very important needs like an advertising budget - <br />from within its own gate sales. <br />Mrs. Sharpe, Chairman Building, Zoning, aad Dsvel©pement Committee announced a Public <br />Hearing on Ordinance No. 78-145 for Tuesday, December 19, 1978, at 7:15 P.M. at <br />City Hall. <br />President Limpert announced receipt o~ a letter from Mr. Melvin L. Dieterich of <br />26068 Kennedy Ridge Road, copies of which will be forwarded to each Council Member. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mike Sanson, Sun Herald reporter, addressed Council and xeferred to the Recreation, <br />Public Parks and Buildings Committee meeting. Asked if Mr. Broader was g~1A$ to do <br />a study on the Rec Complex. Mr. Logan replied that Mr. Brander has been asked to <br />look into the entire Rec Complex and develop his own current feasability study. <br />Discussion continued. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 78-132 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Chapter 941 of the Codified Ordinances entitled "Garbage and Rubbish" <br />by adding thereto a new Section 941.08 entitled "Regulation of Placing of Refuse or <br />Garbage Within the Public Right of Way", as amended. Mrs. Beringer moved for adoption, <br />seconded by Mr. Boehmer. <br />Mr. Beaty repeated his statement of the last Council Meeting. Feels this legislation <br />is being ovex-restrictive and thinks it should not be gassed. President Limpert <br />commented that he agreed wholeheartedly. <br />Roll Call on Motion: Affirmative vote: Boeh~x, Logan, Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, <br />[dilamosky. Negative vote: Beaty. 6 Ayes - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. <br />78-132 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 78-144 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 311.06 entitled °'Play Streets" of Chapter 311 of the Codi- <br />fied Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Street Obstructions and Special <br />Uses". Mrs. Petrigac moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmer.. Affirmative vote; <br />Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Ordinance No. 78-144 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 78-146 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its third reading. A resolu- <br />tion ob,~ecting to the Clevaeland Electric Illuminating Campahy's request to the <br />P.U.C.O. for a rate inereaae, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Logan. moved for <br />adoption, seconded by Mr. [Jilamosky. Ro11 Call on Motion: Affirmative wte: Beaty, <br />Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky.
