Council Minutes of 9-19-78 <br />-6- <br />Resolution No. 78-120 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its second reading. A rest- <br />lotion authorizing Ronald A. Zurawski, City Engineer, to act as the official represents-~ <br />tive of the City of North Opted in all matters relating to the Municipal W~-stewater <br />Treatment Works Construction Grants Program. Mrs. Beringer moved for suape~csion of <br />rule requiring three readings, seetmded by Mr. Logan. Affirmative vie: r, <br />Logan, Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, Wiiamosky. Motion carried. Mrs. ~m~A-t' coved <br />for adoption, seconded by Mr. Logan. Affirmative vote: Boelmser, Logs, Petrigac, <br />Saringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. An ordn- <br />ance approving and adoptiag uniform rules, regulations and standards for the design~pnd <br />construction of sewerage improvements. <br />Ordinance No. 78-127 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its first reading. An ordinance <br />establishing the method by which fees for the use of the facilities of the Recreation <br />Center are to be fixed, and repealing Ordinance No. 77-148, and declaring an emerp~er-cy. <br />Ordinance No. 78-128 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending Chapter 149 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted <br />entitled "Planning Coas~.ssion" by adding a new Section 149.02 entitled "Notice of <br />Planning Commission Meetings". Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings, seconded by Mrs. Petrigac. Affirmative vote: Boahteaesr, Logan, Petrigac, <br />Saringer, Sharpe, Wilamoskq. Motion carried. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, <br />seconded by Mr. Wilamoeky. Affirmative vote: Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, <br />Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 78-128 adopted. Mrs. SariN~er explai~ted <br />for the benefit of the audience that prior to this legislation, the P1afstg Co~sdssion <br />was not obligated to notify any affected residents in the area when sothiag was coming <br />up. This legislation will permit the Secretary to the Planning Commission to notify the <br />people on either side and across the street - the sage Notification procedure used by <br />the Board of Zoning Appeals and Board of Building Code Appeals. <br />Ordinance No. 78-129 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance regulating the transportation of radioactive materials through the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />
