This was presented to Council this <br />evening and has been v~aapaiarslY approved by Council. Because of vacation of Council <br />in August, rill re~q~stiug t'ea lion of rule requiring three separate readings <br />on Ord. No. 78-94 and this ri11 enable the Commission to order the City Seal. <br />Mr. Hoehmer, Chaire~an Trausportatioa Committee and Public Safety, Health & Welfare <br />Cosanittee, scheduled a Transportation Committee meeting on July 24, 1978, at 7:30 P.M., <br />City Hall. <br />Mr. Logan, Chairman Recreation, Public Parks & Buildings Committee, reported: 1) <br />Comauittee met last week follorng the Recreation Commission meeting, and briefly <br />reviewed a recommendation by the Commission which will affect the rate of disburse- <br />ment of funds rich respect to the Worth Opted Hockey Club and C~.ttee is working <br />on the enact wording. There wi11 be s new system put into effect and rill report <br />out on same at next meeting. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mr. Jim McCurdy, 5238 Hampton Drive, a trustee of West Park Forest Ridge Civic <br />Association:, addressed Cecil with respect to vacating land dedicated to the <br />extension of Oring Rd. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. R. Stillrall, 4659 Andorra Dr., President of the North Pack Estates Hoareowners <br />Association, a~tressed Council regarding the extension of Oring Rd. <br />Mr. Hob Bechtel, 4538 Kew Drive, addressed Council with respect to traffic; also, <br />the status of Mill Rd. sidewalks. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Eugene Satspson, 5801 Fitch Rd., addressed Council regarding the bike path along- <br />side I-480 and reasons why he is against same; also swamp along east end .of Fitch Rd. <br />being a moaquitoe bed; and what can be done about all of the traffic with respect to <br />construction of I-480. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. John Maloneq, 24782 Arlington Lane, addressed Council with respect to ditch on <br />Arlington and mosquitos bade iA same; also, is in favor of Res. No. 78-101 and gave <br />his suggestion with respect to sane. <br />Mr. Taylor, 29471 Sutton Drive, addressed Council and Administration and thanked same <br />for moving swiftly to stop the bicycle path going thru his area. <br />Ms. Clare Kelley, Sutton Drive, addressed Council and Administration with respect <br />to I-480; the bicycle path; and the trees that are being removed. <br />
