Mr. Logan coaarented that one of the why the roof was not destined to be fixed so early had to do with baking to passible legal action against Roster & Associates. Mr. Wilamosky discussed with Service Director Corrigan the weed cutting program in general - whether the property oeners are being notified on a regular basis or are being notified based on cc~laints received in the Service Departs~rrit. Service Director Corrigan explained what the Service Departasnt is doing regarding this program. Under New Business: Mrs. Petrigac stated she has a request for two 3-~way atop signs at North Fark & West Park Drives and North Park ~ Bast Park Drives. Mr. Boehmer scheduled a joint meeting of Public Safety, Health & Welfare Camsd.ttee and Transportation Committee on June 12, 1978, 7:30 P.M., City Hall, and requested attendance of Safety Director Petre. Mr. Wilamosky asked when Council can expect to receive the estimated budget for 1979. Mayor stated some departa~ts are slow in getting the inforaistion to the Mayor but Council can expect to receive the estimated budget before the end of the month. Mr. Wilamoskp asked Finance Director Bra+ekman why the City is listed as delinquent with respect to some reap estate property. Finance Director $rockman explained that the parcel has been delinquent for a number of years - it is just a drainage ditch - and to get the property off of the tax duplicate, etc., far some reason has not previously been done. As soon as Mr. Brockman has an opportunity he will institute the action to accomplish this. There is another parcel which is basically a walkway far a school. Mr. Logan scheduled a Recreation Committee Meeting on June 14, 1978, 7:30 P.M., City Hall, and encouraged attendance of anp Council Members, Safety Director and Finance Director. Purpose of teeeting will be to construct the Est attractive levy possible. Mrs. Petrigac commented her reason for reconsideration is not necessarily for a lower levy but possibly one may not be needed at this particular time. Discussion continued. Mr. Beaty discussed with Finance Director Brockman unvoted millage within Charter limitations. Lengthy discussion ensued. finance Director Brockman detailed whp we have eighteen hundredths of a mill under the Charter limitation. Mr. Beaty requested Finance Committee review same with respect to funds for the Rec Center.
