Council Minutes of 4-4-78 _s- <br />Ordinance No. 78-44 was introduced by Mrs. Sariager sad given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance amending Chapter 521 of the Codified Ordiatrances-of the Cltq of <br />North Olmsted entitled "Health, Safety, and Sanitation" by adding thereto a new <br />Section 521.10 entitled "Deposit of snow, ice, or slush". President Liapert <br />referred same into Legislation Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 78-45 was introduced by Mr. Wilasosky. An Ordinance authorizing <br />the Building Commissioner to protarsd with the demolition or removal of the <br />detached garage on pereaneat parcel No. 235-1b-3b, located on Burns Road in <br />the City of North Opted, sad declar3ag an emergency. Mr. Wilamoslry moved <br />for suspension of rule r~uring re#er+ssce to Committee atul susp+Nmsion of rule <br />requiring three separate readings, seed by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: <br />Beaty, Boehme~, Logan, Petrl,gsc, Sar#ar~s, Sharpe, ~iilamne-ky. Mr. tffaamosky <br />moved for adoption, seconded by lir. r. Affirsrative vote: Beaty, tearer, <br />Logan, Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, Milamosky. Motion carried. Ord. No. 78-45 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 78-46 was introduced by Mrs. Sharpe and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purp~aees only the realigmwent of lot lines <br />of permanent parcel Nos. 232-11-3 acrd 232-T1-29 located on the south side of <br />Lorain Road in the Bunt Subdivisioc- in the City of North Olmsted. President Limpert <br />referred same into B.Z.&D. Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 78-47 was introduced by Mrs. Sharpe and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance providing for the t of the Zane-Map of the City of North <br />Olmsted, which Zone Map is part of the Ewing Code of the City of North Olmsted, <br />by changing the premises hereinafter ccr3bed from B Single Family Residence <br />District to General Retail Busisueas District. President Lampert referred same <br />into B.Z. &D. Committee. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer referred to statement of Service Director Corrigan with respect to <br />the possible discontinuance of leaf collection program: Woua.d hope that before <br />any decision is made that Council cm discuss this in detail; was an advocate of <br />such collection, etc., would like sal aspects looked into thore-ughly before the <br />program is cut out. <br />Mr. Wilamoeky discussed with Service Director Corrigan his comments with respect <br />to tree planting: Council of 1977 made a commitment to replace as many trees <br />as possible and not much headway was made: would like to encourage the Service <br />Director to consider seriously xag •oera: attempt to plant some of the trees in <br />the Spring and continue with the Fall planting as he is concerned about adverse <br />weatt-er conditions in the Fail. <br />Mr. Logan discussed with City Engineer Zurawaki the speed surveys required by <br />the State of Ohio with respect to reduction of the spend limit on Brookpark Rd. <br />City Engineer explained status and feels by the end of the month should be near <br />completion of the reports. <br />Mr. Logan referred to comprehensive aanalysis of the physical problems of the <br />Rec Complex regarding lack of prev+emtative maintenance, etc. Mayor stated he <br />hopes to have a written report on same to Council hopefully by next Council meeting. <br />. : ,. <br />_ _ <br />
