Council Minutes of 3-21-78 _2_ feel reads properly and is being studied with the hope of re-~triting. Will probably come out of Cc~i.ttee by next meeting; 2) Committee is conjunction with Long Range Planning Casaittee under direction o~ its Chairmae Wilamosky, had three meetings with residents xho lived in areas considered "su#ficisnt" noise level alc~ug preposed I-480 awl rep~reseatatives from the State Transportation Depatrtm at. 'Those meetings on March 13th sxtd March 14th were in response to a letter sent tc the Ohfo Dept.. of Traasportetion by Covr~cil. The letter was the result of a prior >Naeting with reaidetattt and t~ Tfepsrtment 4f Transportation. Mr. Wilamcsky is pla~aing on a mare detailed report as he is Councilman in that ward; 3) have regasst from resident on Maple Ridge Drive sad several of the ns rs in that area to sat up a meeting with tote 8trsets ~ Drainage Committee. ~ pet~ple have had raw sQwage in their basements after the last rainf~.l and would Tike to talk to Committee; 4) have requests to have the leaves, etc., cleaned out and removed from the tree lawns, ditches and swales so that the. water will be able to drain properly. James Patton to a second term to the Board of Building Code Appeal, term ending 12/31/82.. Mr. Beaty coved Council approve the rea~-poiat>aent of Mr. James Patton to the Board of Building Code Appeals, term ending 22/31/82, seconded by Mr. Wlaewsky. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. 3) Mr. Beaty saved Council approve the reappointment of Lois VanAuken, to a second term to the Turks Commission, tarts ending 12/31fT9, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. I~tion carried. 4) the other appointment to the Planning Commission is being held for further discussion; 5) scheduled a Legislation Committee meeting on March 28, 1978, 7:15 P.M., City Hall, prior to the Special Meeting of Council to be announced later. Mr. Beaty requested approval of appointment of Recreation Director be on the Agenda for the Special Meeting; also approval of appointment to Planning Commission. Mr. Boehmer, Chairman Transportation Committee and Public Safety, Health & Welfare Committee, reported Safety Committee sect and discussed application for a C-2 liquor permit to A&P Tea Company, 23000 Lorain Rd., and Committee objects to this application because there is no building on the site. Mr. Boehmer moved Council objects to the application for a C-2 liquor permit to A&P Tea Cos~any, 23000 Lorain Rd., seccmdeed by Mr. Wilamasky. Affirmative vote: Bcsitwer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Beaty. 6 Yeas - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Mr. Wilaaosky, Chairman Finance Committee sad Long Range Planning Committee, stated he would like to make some c' is with respect to the meetings held with the State of Ohio and residents that are affected by the construction of I-480 and the noise it will generate: the State had forms for residents in attend~.nce
