'Those meetings on March 13th sxtd March 14th <br />were in response to a letter sent tc the Ohfo Dept.. of Traasportetion by Covr~cil. <br />The letter was the result of a prior >Naeting with reaidetattt and t~ Tfepsrtment 4f <br />Transportation. James Patton to a second term to the Board <br />of Building Code Appeal, term ending 12/31/82.. <br />Mr. Beaty coved Council approve the rea~-poiat>aent of Mr. James Patton to the Board <br />of Building Code Appeals, term ending 22/31/82, seconded by Mr. Wlaewsky. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. <br />Motion carried. <br />3) Mr. Beaty saved Council approve the reappointment of Lois VanAuken, to a second <br />term to the Turks Commission, tarts ending 12/31fT9, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. <br />I~tion carried. <br />4) the other appointment to the Planning Commission is being held for further <br />discussion; <br />5) scheduled a Legislation Committee meeting on March 28, 1978, 7:15 P.M., <br />City Hall, prior to the Special Meeting of Council to be announced later. Mr. <br />Beaty requested approval of appointment of Recreation Director be on the Agenda <br />for the Special Meeting; also approval of appointment to Planning Commission. <br />Mr. Boehmer, Chairman Transportation Committee and Public Safety, Health & Welfare <br />Committee, reported Safety Committee sect and discussed application for a C-2 liquor <br />permit to A&P Tea Company, 23000 Lorain Rd., and Committee objects to this application <br />because there is no building on the site. <br />Mr. Boehmer moved Council objects to the application for a C-2 liquor permit to <br />A&P Tea Cos~any, 23000 Lorain Rd., seccmdeed by Mr. Wilamasky. Affirmative vote: <br />Bcsitwer, Logan, Petrigac, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Beaty. <br />6 Yeas - 1 Nay - Motion carried. <br />Mr. Wilaaosky, Chairman Finance Committee sad Long Range Planning Committee, <br />stated he would like to make some c' is with respect to the meetings held <br />with the State of Ohio and residents that are affected by the construction of <br />I-480 and the noise it will generate: the State had forms for residents in attend~.nce <br /> <br />
