<br />Under Old Business:
<br />Mrs. Petrigac asked status of requests for atop signs at Marquette. & Laurel Lane,
<br />and Dogwood Trail and Cottonw~d,`w.ch were gut into Trasspvrtation Committee on
<br />January 17th. Mr. Boehser advised the rsafwsts were turned over to the Safety
<br />Director and Bxtgineer and Cosatittee is awaiting a ruling on sane.
<br />Under New Business:
<br />Mrs. Beringer scheduled a Strsets ft Drainage Cosmittee meeting on April 3, 1978,
<br />8.:00 P.M., Citq Hall, and rusted City Engineer, Serrate Director, Mrs. Petrigac,
<br />and some residents of Maple Ridgy Road to be in attendance.
<br />Mrs. Beringer referred to two le tars with respect to bus service sad requested
<br />letters be given to Trane~artsticro Coas~ittee. The letters have bean sent to the
<br />bus line; however, she has nct bs~ard any tiention of the situations referred to
<br />in the letters in any report. Probless stated in letters are overcrowded buses,
<br />long time of travel, rapid connections, etc.
<br />Mrs. SAringer read letter received from Committee entitled "Close Up Committee"
<br />who has invited a foxum of speakers from six west suburban high schools to
<br />participate in a discussion oa assures confronting our teenagers. The time 1s
<br />8:15 p.m., April 4, 1978, St. Berttatte's Church, 2256 Clague Rd., Westlake, Ohio,
<br />and it is their hope that representatives attend.
<br />Mrs. Petrigac stated she has a request for a streetlight to be placed close to
<br />corner of 3weetbriar and Canterbury Road.
<br />Mr. Logan asked Mayor Swistyniowaki about the maintenance problems at the Rec
<br />Complex and what his Departma~ut goads have found with respect to lack of preventative
