Ae <br />emphasized that comnittee would lik:e to hav+e such legislatian as soan as passible <br />to give ample time for review ae to accuracy - an error could occur where the figurea <br />raight be tramaposed, etc. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspensiosa of ruie requiring thxee readiuge af Ordinance <br />No. 79-17 with the stipulation that Finance Committee will review it for accuracy <br />and should any chaages be necessarp they wi11 be made - perhaps evea by EiddiCibAal <br />legislation, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Beatq, Boehoer, LoBan. <br />Petrigac, Saringer, Wilamosky. Mation carried. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />aeconded by 14r. Boehmer. Affirmati.ve vote: Beaty, Boehmex, Lo$an, Petrigac, Saringer, <br />Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 79-17 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 79-18 introduced by Mr. Wil:mosky was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 78-15 entitled "Aa ordinsnce establishing <br />compensation to be paid to the emp3.oyees of the North Olmsted Mmicipal Bus Line, and <br />declaring an emergency", and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamoaky moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings, with the ssme stigulation as stated in <br />Ordinance No. 79-17, seconded by 1+1rs. Saringer. Affirmative vate: Beaty, Tioehmr, <br />Logan, Petrigac, Saringer, Wilawoeky. Motian carried. Mr. t,tilamoekq moved for <br />adoption, seconded by Mrs. 5aringer. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Soet'mter, Logan, <br />Petrigac, 5aringer, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 79-18 aaopted. <br />Ordinance No. 79-19 introduced bp Mr. Saeltmer was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance correcting the Memorandum of tTnderstanding with the Ameriean Federation of <br />State, County, and Municipal eaiployees, hereafter referred to as AFSCMS, which <br />established the remuneraCion for certain emplayees in the Public Works Division of <br />the Degartment of Public Service of the City of North Olmsted, as set foxth in <br />Ordinance No. 77-170, enacted on October 18, 1977. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked 14r. Wilamosky if any provisiflns have been uaade to raise the <br />school guarch to the minimum wsge of $2.90• Mr. Wilamosky replied that it is being <br />worked on and was discussed with the Administration at ths last Finance Committee <br />meeting. Intends to recowm[snd tc Council sztd Administrati.on that the school <br />guards be raiaed to the minimum wage for Jaan,uary 1, 1979 and eapects they will be <br />included ia the ordinance which will be rev!iswed shartly after the 15th of February. <br />This ordinance will include all city emplQy*es.
