The be11 -vras donated by Charles Hyde Olmsted., <br />the ariginal Cannecticut I,and Cor,m=Xy grantar and l:sher Coe, amroninent <br />commun.ity resident. The be11 was used for chwcch and aornmuni.t9 events. <br />TY12 btt]..Zd2llg T73.5 selected to be included in the J=xican F-istaric <br />Euildi.rg Survey in the 1930's as having s3.gnificant national architecture. <br />The pl.a.ris and photographs are lcept at the I32tional Archives as a result of <br />this selection. <br />The chvrch building tras moved to rorter ; oa.d in the 19601 s. At <br />that time structural restorataon occurred to safes?zard the structure for <br />the future. The Universalist Church is the second oldest church in Cvyahoga <br />C:Yunty that has its original appeas'ance and is sti11 used as a chvrch.
