After much discusaion, Cammittee decided to place it on third reading with no recommendstion. Mrs. Petrigac, Chairman Bnvixoamatal Gantrol Committee had no report but reminded the Committee of a meeting on the 12th of 3une aC 7:30 P.M. Mr. Wilamoaky, Chairaon Finance Ccmmittee, reported: 1) Committee iaet tddaq to re- view the Zetter fxom the Civil Servics Conwiasion which dealt with the sa1ary rmge of the Clerk-Typist position in the Pnlice Department. Committee had reeuamaded a change in the rang,e fcr this gosition, xhich Comcil adopted on May 6, 1980. Will prepare a letter for the Com#.saioa sdvising them of the change. In the absence of Mr. Woerpel, Chaitman Transportation Come?ittee, Mr. Boebm+ar re- ported: 1) Committee met aad discuseoed Otdinance No. 80-45 which regulaetes the use of City owned vehicles by Citp e?ployoes. Itecomendation of Committee will be made at next Council Metting. 2) Committee also diacussed Che Gaxfield Aeights resolution opposing prog a?e along increases by the Greater Gleva?l?d Rtt?al Transit Autl?aritq. Cc?rmitt? with a 10e, £are iacrease for the North Olprtad Municipal Bus Liae, if that's all it was. Since Ordinance No. 80-45 is on second resding toaight, Mra. Petrigac asked if Mr. Boehmer would give ComitCee's recomondatioa instead of waiting unatil next meeting. Mr. Boehmr reported thst it was Camm3ttee'e recammadatioa to turn this legislation down; majority of Committee feele it is up to tha Administrstion to decide who should have cazs ass3.gned to them and wfien they should be used. Dis- cussion continued. Letters and Commuaicatioas: Clerk announced receipt of a letter frcna City of B,roak Pask encloafng a ccrpq of Ordinance No. 1980-20, an eaergoncy resoluticm in oppositioa to thie C1evoIand Electric Illuminatiag Compsaq's latest praposed rate increase. Letter referred to Legislation Comfttec. People addressing Council: Mr. Fred Kelfo, 5984 Columbia Road, staCed his objections to the pxaposed si.dewslk between Hutternut Ridge and the south ead of Columbia Road. Ftas coatacted 17 homeawners along that stretch and 15 of them aleo objeet to the siclewalk. Mr. Jeff Rasler, 26027 Tallrrocrd Drive, stated that he represented a grnup of people opposed to the prospective roller ri.nk and will present petiCioas to thst effect. LEGISLATION: Ordinaace No. 80-33 intraduced by Mr. Logan was given ita t&ird reading. Ar? ord3n- ance amending Section 513.09 of the Codified Ordinances of the Citp of North Oimsted entitled "Contrelled Substance for Prescriptian Lahels" of Chapter 513 of the Geaeral Offenses Code entitled "Drttg Abuse +Cantrol". Mr. Logoua moved to place this legislation back in Committee uutil the next regular meting of Council, secanded by Mr. Boebmer. Roll call on mation: Affirmative vote: Boohmer, Logan, McRay, Petrigac, Wilamdsky. Negative vate: Ssringer. Mot3on carried. Qrdinaace No. 80-33 referred back to Legislatian Cousittee; will go back oa third reading on June 17, 1980.
