Logan <br />moved Council approve the 4200 oqvare foot addition to the I1anAy Aoy Farm i'tarket, <br />24579 Lorain P.oad, secanded by Mrs. Petxigac, unanimously approeed. <br />Rir. Tloerpel, Chairman Transportation Comnittee reparted: 1) The Tranaportation <br />Committee has not had any buaintsgs lately to discuss but would Iike to give an <br />interim report on the long range planaing pracess he begsn in Septe-mber of 1980. <br />34 completed forms have been xetutned aand a compilatian of data and infox?ratti.on <br />received through these forms is in a regert which Mr. Woorpei iaill dietribute this <br />evening. Briefly, most of the issuea idemtified, fall into one of five categflxiesy <br />those being, recreation acCivities, streets and raacls, health and safety concerns, <br />finance and city administratian attid ccmmmity development. Duxing the next several <br />months, will share this information with planning experts and work to deveiop <br />alternative courses of acticm for Conmcil's eonsidetatlan. The compietion of <br />additional issue forms wi11 be encuuxsged as this is an «xtgoing process. Weuld <br />be happy to meet with the Long Range Planning C-rnitCee at any time to share any <br />intormation or answer any questions. <br />Letters and Communicationso <br />Council received a resolution passed by the City of Fairview park opgosiag a <br />proposed increase of losp3talizativn rates by Blue Cross as well as a reso3utioa <br />passed by the City of Broadview Heights, opgosing increases in service raCes and <br />charges as proposed by the East Ohio Gss Company. Both resolutiions referred to <br />LeQislation Comanittee. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mr. Edward A. graves, 3925 Pine Circle, stated that he was very much interested in <br />tax incentives and asked if Ir. Tdc>erpel had any plans. '-,T..r. t•loerpel respoaded that <br />these are areas which are being euplored as part of the long range planning process. <br />LEGISLATION; , <br />Ordinance No. 81-110 introduced by Mr. McXay was givesn its third readf.ng.
