Tloerpel, Chairman Transportation Comnittee reparted: 1) The Tranaportation Committee has not had any buaintsgs lately to discuss but would Iike to give an interim report on the long range planaing pracess he begsn in Septe-mber of 1980. 34 completed forms have been xetutned aand a compilatian of data and infox?ratti.on received through these forms is in a regert which Mr. Woorpei iaill dietribute this evening. Briefly, most of the issuea idemtified, fall into one of five categflxiesy those being, recreation acCivities, streets and raacls, health and safety concerns, finance and city administratian attid ccmmmity development. Duxing the next several months, will share this information with planning experts and work to deveiop alternative courses of acticm for Conmcil's eonsidetatlan. Letters and Communicationso Council received a resolution passed by the City of Fairview park opgosiag a proposed increase of losp3talizativn rates by Blue Cross as well as a reso3utioa passed by the City of Broadview Heights, opgosing increases in service raCes and charges as proposed by the East Ohio Gss Company. Both resolutiions referred to LeQislation Comanittee. People addressing Council: Mr. Edward A. graves, 3925 Pine Circle, stated that he was very much interested in tax incentives and asked if Ir.
