If any Member af Council would like to provide input an this legislation, <br />he is invited to attend the next BZD Came?ittee Meeting. <br />Letters and Comunications: <br />1) Resolution passed bq the Council of the City of Bereaa No. 1981-33 requestiag and <br />supporting the deletion of certain provisions pertaining to local municipal <br />control of cable television systems in the b11I known as S898 by the United States <br />Senate. President Limpert referred this to Legislation Canunittee. <br />2) >igned petition asking that the prvper administrative departaents take action on <br />a number of safety and health violations a+hicb exist at 5360 South Porter Raad. <br />?'resident Limpert referred this to Safety, Health aad Welfare Coaanittee. <br />I'eople addressing Counci?e <br />Susan Spercely 23724 Vincent Dr3we, reported on the daagerous water rentian basin <br />in the City of Westlake which abuts her property. The Planning Ccxi?issian of <br />'lestlake is going to be asked to grant a variance so the developer will net have to <br />fence in this dangerous area. Mr. Logan advised that under New Busi.ness, he will <br />ask Council to apprave a resalution urging the Planning Commission of Westlake to <br />reject such a variance. <br />Richard Bezpiaty, 24234 Vincent Drive, also cotmQented on the dangers at this open <br />retention basin. Suggested Council be careful in drafting legis].ation regarding <br />changeable eopy signs since the Great Narthern Theatre has such a sign. Also, <br />advised caution in the use of the words "°transformers'° and °'capacitors" in the <br />legislation relating to PCB• <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 81-8J introduced by Mr. Logan was given its third reading. An ordia- <br />ance accepting fax dedication the Hickory Laae in the Timber Trail Subdivision in <br />the Citq of Norfih Olmsted. Mr. Logan maved for adaption, seconded by Mr. Woerpel9 <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance Nv. 81-8() adapted. <br />Ordinance No. 81-103 introduced bq Mr. Boetmer was given its third reading. An <br />ordinanee establishing pexmit and fee require+nents for the use of all baseball <br />diamonds, fields, and facilittes operated and falliag under the jusisdictian of the <br />Recreatian Department of the CiCy af North OZmsted, and repealing Ordinaace No. <br />? 79-136.
