"?etrigac as?.ed if the application haci been made since the deadline was <br />October 2nd. Mayor re-__ilied he did not knaa* but would check i•Tith rAr. Corrigan and <br />have an answer for Mrs. Petri¢ac on TJednesday. <br />'>ir. 'Tc':ay moved that Couneil authorize the Glerk of Council to seek written esti- <br />mates for the purpose of reeodifying the Cc:dified Ardinances of the City of Vorth <br />Olmsted9 seconded by TMir. Woerpel, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Boehmer had no committee report but wi.th respect to Safety Director's report, <br />commented that steel noles for street lighting will be delivered on Ftiday and set <br />in North Park Estates next week. <br />imr. Iailamosky, Chairman Finance Caapnittee, had no report but conmtented on a meetina <br />with Finance Director 'Rroek7aan. Thev disctisaed the needs with respect Co adjustments <br />in the appropriaticros and their cctaclusians are reflected in Ordinance *10. 81-113. <br />This <<.*ill be discussed at neict Finance Comnittee Meeting for possible further <br />adjustments. <br />Also, TAth respect to CIC. The Ohio Revised Code was changed and naw requires that <br />the CIC take on new responsibility for manitoring prevailing wage rates for con- <br />tractors as provided in the new amendment. This aaendment to the ORC requires that <br />the apnlicant, once approved, must-submit paymll recorde througli a CIC wage <br />coordinator who will check to detexhnine i€ the prevailing wage rates are being psid <br />for the work being performed. Mr. Prokasy moved to recommend iviary Slama, secretary <br />and agent for the CiC, to be wage coordfnator, seconded and unanimously passed. <br />ResolutioniVo. 81-114 reflects this reconmteitdation by the CIC for Council's approval. <br />Air. Logan, Chairman '3uiiding, 2oning and Development Committee reparted: 1) Committee <br />met and discussed the foll(ning items: <br />a. Sportsmens° Junction, 26745 ?rookpark Extension, 12' by 3' facia <br />sign. Cozmnittee has no objectian. Mr. Logan moved Council approve said sign, <br />seconded by Mr. McKay, unanimously apnroved. <br />b. []illiam R. Giesser, 24963 Lorain Road, 4' by 3° i-zaoden grouad <br />sign. Mr. Logan moved Council approve said sign, seconded by Mr. r•tcKay, unanimously <br />approved. <br />c. Rent-A-Heep, 24592 Lorain Road, 8' by 3' ;)ole sign and 3' by 20' <br />f acia siRn. Mr. Logan naved Council apprave the 3' by 20° facia sign, with the <br />exception of the changeable copy portion of said sign, seconded by ?sr. Wilamosky, <br />unanimously approved. Mr. Logan moved Council approve the 8' by 3' nole sign with <br />the pravision that it be balanced and the changeable copy poxtion be removed, <br />seconded by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. <br />d. Paradis Honds, 25870 Lorain Road, lb' by 3' taall sign. Mr. Logan <br />moved Council approve said sign, secanded by ?•tr. Boehmer, unanimously approved. <br />? e. Winner Designer, 24863 Lorain Road, 22' by 3' facia sign. Mr. <br />Logan moved Council approve said sign, seconded by Mr. BoehmBr, unanimously approved. <br />f. Silvexman's Carpet Mill Outlet, 26103 Lorain Road, 24' by 21<-` <br />facia sign. 114r. Logan moved Coumcil agpos`ve said sign as recamnended by the ARB <br />and Planaing Co?mmission, seconded by ?tr. TMlcKay, unanimously approved.
