A1legiance. <br />Minutes of regular Council Meet3.ng of Februa.ry 16, 19,92, were approved. <br />Minutes of special Council Meeting of February 22, 10811, were approved. <br />President Pro Tem Wilamoslcy announced that Resalution No. 32-6 has been nlaced on the <br />agenda for second read3ng- Ordinance No. 91-145 has been removed from the agenda. <br />In the ahsence of Mayar Swietyniovisl.i, the .f.oZiocaing report Taas react by Service <br />Director Cor.rigan: 1) 'a'h.e month of. ^tarch is Red Cross *'Ionth in AIorth Olmsted. ?'he <br />Red Cross is observing its 101st year of providing services to citizens in safety <br />and health care. <br />2) All elected of.ficials who serveci in public office during 1981 muet file a finencial <br />disclosure statement with the Ohio Rthics Commission by Apr31 5, 1982. <br />3) A Public Hearing is scheduled for ?iarch 4, 1482, 8!00 P.M., at the Seaior Citizens' <br />Center to accept suggestions for the use of 1982 Block Grant F'undg. City af North <br />Olmsted will receive $92MO in lAR?. If unable to attend, suggestion forms are <br />available through the DeparCment of Human Resourees. <br />4) Has requested Council to postpone action on Ordinance No. 91-21 and 81-22 ta <br />allow time to review portions of the rezaning groposal which have not been coeunleted. <br />Citq Engineer Zurawski reported: 1) Recently attended a number of ineetinge with the <br />consul.tant working on the Sewer System Evaluation Survey. 'I"he televising aad video <br />taping of portians of the sanitarSr sewers is tentative3.y scheduled ta begin on <br />March 8th. One of the first streeta to be video Caped wi11 be Geasner Road; the <br />project will lsat approx3mately eight weeks with 1,000 feet per day being tei?visea. <br />2) On Monday, Marc:h lst, a review mseting was held at the Ohio Department of Trana- <br />portation with representat:ives from the Cuqahoga County Eng3neer's office, City of <br />Westlake, n::d Ohio DepartmErit cf Transportation also in atteridance. Mt. Zurawski <br />was qu3.te pIeased at the minimgl amount of changes to be made before plana can be <br />submiCted for filing of tracings. <br />3) Recentlq held a meeting with representatives from OAOT regarding the C]ague Road <br />project. They inquired if the City was gaing to take advantage of the fec3eral funds <br />available, incorporating the impxavment of driveway aprons aad making thsm atl can- <br />crete as was done on the Dover CenCex Road project. <br />4) Was reeently made aware that Federsel fupttding, under the Clean Water Act, has been <br />drastically reduced. Ras been working with the Mapor on doing whatever is pussible <br />to secure the funds which North Olmstesd wi7.1 need to make imgrovewnts ta the 14aetCo <br />Water Treatment Plant.
