A few changes ia 1.ine ftem were made, such <br />as hiring an extra janitor wha viU wvric part-time, three days awoek, et the Bec <br />Complex; also, an off-dutq polieesan will be hired on Fridaq nighta, i`or four hours. <br />Mrs. Petrigac requested a capy of C2e propcased Ite+ereation Commisaict? budget; was <br />advieed by Mr. Petre fihat it had not bean cc3mpleted and wsa merely awork copy. <br />Mr. Wilamosky, Chairman Finance Ccmmittee and Streetra and Drainage Comm3,ttee re- <br />ported: 1) Streets aa@ Drsinage Comittee met on gebruary let at i o'clock with <br />Ghairman Wilamoeky and Mrs. Sariager in attendauce. Mayor Swiet"i.aaraki, Service <br />Director Corrigan, City Eagineer Zuremki and Councilmen McKay we;re a3.so present. <br />Committee discusaed the condition of the pavement of Lorain Road with t2rt Admini- <br />stration. Gom,ittee reeommended lsg3elatfon urging the State of Ohio to resurface <br />Lorain Road; thie is on the agericta tani,ght - Rssalution No. 82-13. <br />2) Cammittae discusaed the condition of Canterbury Road, fram Larain Rpad to the <br />West].ske mwnicipal line. AC thie time, it is uncertain whether secticrn,e of Clagm, Keqnedy <br />Ridge from Columbia to the cul-de--sac, and Fitch R,aad will be repaved thia year; <br />the State has made a committmettt to put these roads back ia similar-1ike condition. <br />Stearns Rosd wae also a haul road; is ogtimistic that some def3nite progress will <br />take place this year on that road. <br />4) Finance Goamittee Meetfn$ was taeld an Fehruary let at 8 P.M. w3th Chairman <br />wilamooky and Mr. McKay in attendance. Mapor Sz,rietynicraski, CQuntilwoman Saringer <br />and Presfdent Boehs4er were also present. Covnnittee discuased Ordinance No. 82-5 <br />which suthorizes the Mayor to advertise for bids for a new phone gystem for the <br />City. At the time of the meeting, had aot received the balance o€ apprapriation <br />sheet frrnn 1981; it was received tonight in csucus. Com3ttee diti discuss the cost <br />incurred in 1981 for service and equipment which the Maqor reported was apgroad- <br />mately $71,()00 paid to Ohio Be11.
