? <br />Council Minutes of 8/29/83 -3- <br />LEGZSLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 83-102 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. A resolu- <br />tion authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for a baekhoe <br />tractor, a one-ton flat-bed truck with power lift gate, one Jet Vac sewer cleantng <br />machine, a three-quarter ton pickup truck, one four-door sedan automobile for use at <br />the Wastewater Treatment Facilities Plant, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for <br />same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Transportation Comittee. <br />Ordinance No. 83-103 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance authorizing the sale of surplus personal progerty owned by the City of North <br />Olmsted and previously used by the Department of Public Service, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-104 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the cancellation of special assessments on <br />certain permanent parcels, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moued Finance Director Boyle present a Fiscal Officer's Certificate <br />with respect to Ordinance No. 83-105, second by Mr. McKay, unanimousiy approved; <br />certificate presented. <br />Ordinance No. 83-105 introduced by Mr. t,lilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the issuance of ntoes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds <br />to pay cost of acquiring and installing telephone equipment and necessary appurten- <br />ances thereto for use by the City, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved Finance Director Boyle present a Fiscal Officer's Certificate <br />with respect to Ordinance No. 83-106, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved; <br />certificate presented. <br />Ordinance No. 83-106 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the issuance of notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds <br />for the purpose of purchasing trucks, automobiles and other motorized equipment, <br />together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, for various departments of the <br />City, and declaring an emergency. <br />In order not to delay the salary increases per Ordinance No. 83-93, Mrs. Petrigac <br />moved Council allow her to reconsider her "no" vote on suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings on Ordinance No. 83-93, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />Mrs. Petrigac moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings on Ordiaance <br />No. 83-93, second by Mr. MeKay, unanimously approved. Mrs. Petrigac moved for <br />adoption of Ordinance No. 83-93, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordin- <br />ance No. 83-93 adopted. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend the agenda for reconsideration of Ordinance No. 83-73, <br />second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Mr. tailamosky moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Mr. tdila- <br />mosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />83-73 adopted. <br />Mr. Bierman moved to excuse the absence of Councilmen Logan and Woerpel, second by <br />Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. <br />4D There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Special Meeting of <br />Council at 8:40 P.M. <br />lorence E.
