Council Minutes of 6/21/83 <br />-10- <br />Mr. Logan moved to amend the agenda to allow reconsideration of Ordinance No. <br />83-78, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Mr. Logan moved fer suspen- <br />sion of rule requiring three readings, aecond bq Mrs. Saringer, unaniaoualy <br />approved. Mr. Logan moved for adoption, second by Mra. Saringer, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 83-78 adopted. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac recapped the situation regarding the drainage problem at Sanders and <br />Edgepark; haa been unable to get the information the Service Director had promised <br />to provide; at the last Council Meeting had requested the Mayor to aee that the <br />information waa provided; ia now appealing to the President of Council to get this <br />problem reaolved. Preaident Boehmer stated he would try to get aat gpgointment <br />for tomorrow with Mr. Corrigan. Mr. Corrigan related hia involvessylt with this <br />drainage problem; will turn over copies of the contractor's estimate to the Clerk <br />of Council; it is now up to Council to do whatever they aee fit with respect to <br />this iasue; Mr. Corrigan is no longer involved. There ia juat one thing that he <br />intends to do in the Woodpark area. He intenda to obtsin an eaaement to run one <br />line out to Woodpark to a 48 inch storm sewer; thia line will run to the resr <br />yard between Mr. Michaels and his adjacent neighbor to provide relief for their <br />yards which are 80 or 90 percent flooded. Mra. Petrigac again atated that it waa <br />Mr. Corrigan's responsibility to get the estimatea to the peop2e aince he had <br />made the promise to do ao and had the means to do so. Mr. Corrigan etated he was <br />reneging on his promiae - he is too buay - it is not his legal obligation to do so. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked the Mayor to have his secretary send the eatimatea out. <br />Law Director asked that the estimatea be forwarded to his office and he would aupply <br />the stamps and envelopes to mail them since thts whole situation was rather <br />ridiculous. <br />Mr. Wilamosky presented his financial disclosure statement to the Clerk. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Wiiamosky asked if the Mayor intended to provide Couneil with the balance of <br />the organizational charts for the City employees. Mayor promised to do so. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked if the Finance Committee Chairman had reported out on Ordin- <br />ance No. 83-73. Mr. Wilamosky replied that tiiey were unable to discuas this <br />legislation for lack of in£ormation; are still waiting for information £rom the <br />Ma.yor with respect to the Adminiatration's recommendations for funding. Mrs. <br />Petrigac requested she be notified when this would be discuased in Finance Committee <br />because she would like to be in attendance. <br />Mrs. Petrigac scheduled a Long Range Planning Comnittee Meeting for Tuesday, <br />June 28th at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. Logan scheduled a Transporation CoIIUnittee Meeting for Tuesday, June 28th, at <br />7:Op P.M. <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a Legislation Committee Meeting for Tuesday, June 28th, <br />at 8:30 P.M. <br />Mr. McKay scheduled an Environmental Control Connnittee Meeting for Wednesday, <br />June 29th, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. W3lamosky seheduled a Finance Committee Meeting for Thursday, June 30th, at <br />7:30 P.M. <br />There being no further busineas, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting <br />at :20 P.M. ? <br />r?LoTence . , . ,
