Council Minutes of 4/19/83 -7- <br />LEGISLATION (cont`d): <br />Ordinance No. 83-39 introdueed by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordin- <br />ance to resurface the existing pavement on that part of S. R. 10 (Lorain Road) within <br />the City of North Olmsted from the North Olmsted south corporation 1#mit to S. R. 17 <br />(Brookpark Road); total length being 3.53 miles more or less. Mr. McKay moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Logan, unaniaously approved. <br />Mr. McKay moved for adoption, seeond by Mr. Wilamosky, unsnimously approved. Ordin- <br />ance No. 83-39 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-40 introduced by Mr. Woerpel was given its secand reading. An ordin- <br />ance authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the rempval <br />of trash from condominium properties located within the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 83-41 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A resolu- <br />tion authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for litter <br />receptacles, and declaring an emergency. Mr. McKay moved for suspension of rule <br />requiring three readings, second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Mr. McKay moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 83-41 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 83-42 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A resolu- <br />tion authorizing the Ma.yor to enter into an agreement raith Hot Stove Baseball League <br />and the North Olmsted Board of Education for the purpose of improving and maintaining <br />the Spruce Sehool Baseball Field. <br />Ordinance No. 83-43 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted by providing for <br />the installation of "No Parking" signs on the cul-de-sac located at 256$4 Kennedy Ridge <br />Road in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-44 introduced by Ma.yor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance transferring forty-six thousand, seventy-two dollars ($46,072.00) for current <br />expenditures of the City of North Olsmted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 1983, <br />and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Comm.ittee. <br />Ordinance No. 83-45 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its first reading. An ordinance <br />establishing the compensatian to be paid to administrattve and maintenance personnel <br />employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an etnergency. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 83-46 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its first reading. An ordinance <br />establishing the compensation to be paid to all fiourly employees eatployed by the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance <br />Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 83-4$ introdueed by Mrs. Petrigac was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance establishing a new Section 509.09 of the Codified Ordinances entitled "Creating <br />a Disturbance - Consumption of Alcholic Beverages" of Chapter 509 entitled "Disorderly <br />Conduct and Peace Disturbance", and declaring an emergency. Referred to Safety Committee. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Bierman disaussed the installation of "No Parking" signs to be erected, as stated <br />in Ordinance No. 82-78, at the site of the Barton-Bradley Fie1d, westerly to the County <br />Line. Two signs were erected at the Field, no signs have been placed to the line. <br />Mr. Corrigan advised that he and Safety Director Petre would review this tomorrow when <br />they checked signage at the Field. <br />?- <br />W-Rq
