? <br />; lCouncil Minutes of 4/5/83 -8- <br /> <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for April 20th at 7:30 P.M. <br />and requested the Mayor to be in attendance. <br />Mrs. Petrigac pointed out that the Long Range Planning Committee Meeting would be <br />held on April 20th at 8 P.M., and requested the Mayor, Safety Director and Building <br />Commissioner to be in attendance. <br />Mr. Wilamosky stated that he is very supportive of the new legislation introduced <br />tonight regarding the resurfacing of Lorain Road from Brookparlc to the south <br />corporation line. Is also concerned with the legislation which is in committee and <br />deals with the relining of water lines. City is looking at an expenditure of about <br />$105,000 to develop the engineering study. Asked the Administration to cons3der <br />having this study done in-house by our own Engineering Department. Funding is <br />needed for both projects; have basically talked about an OWI3A laan which is available. <br />Would hope Council would provide some direction for the Finance Comm3.ttee as to <br />funding. Suggested the President of Council call a Council-as-a-Whole Comaittee <br />Meeting to discuss these itnportant projects. President Boehmer set a Council-as-a- <br />Whole Committee Meetinp for April 18th at 8:00 P.M. <br />Mr. Woerpel pointed out that a Council-of-the-Whole Committee Meeting is also <br />necessary to discuss the jail standards as well as the Cable TV rate increase. <br />President Boehmer scheduled a Council-as-a-Whole Committee Meeting for May 2nd, <br />at 8 P.M., to discuss the Cable TV issue. Also, Monday, May 9th, at 7:30 P.M., <br />to discuss jail standards. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting <br />at 10:15 P.M. <br />? <br />Florence E.
