Council Minutes of 3/15/83 <br />IV LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 83-37 introduced by Mr. Woerpel was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to amend the Traffic Cade Penalty to comply with current State law, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Woerpel moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Mr. Woerpel <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />83-37 adopted. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. McKay asked Service Director Corrigan if he had checked the guard rail at <br />Country C1ub Boulevard and what was being done about it. Mr. Corrigan replied <br />that his department is getting estimates on this right now. <br />-8- <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Bierman scheduled a Recreation CoBnaittee Meeting for March 28th at 7:30 P.M., <br />and invited the Law Director to attend. <br />Mr. Woerpel scheduled a BZD Committee Meeting for March 31st, at 7:30 P.M. <br />President Pro Tem Petrigac scheduled a Council-as-a-Whole Committee Meeting for <br />Ma.rch 28th, at 8:00 P.M., to discuss the new jai1 standards. <br />President Pro Tem Petrigac scheduled a Special Council Meeting for March 28th, at <br />7:15 P.M., with the agenda to inelude Ordinance No. 83-21 and Ordinance No. 83-22. <br />Mr. McKay moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Logan and President Boehmer, second <br />by Mr. Woerpel, unanimously approved. <br />Council moved into the Caucus Room and continued to meet in executive session. <br />At 11:20 P.M., there being no further business, President Pro Tem Petrigac adjourned <br />the Councfl Meeting. <br />lorence E.
