Council Minutes of 12/18/84 -2- <br />Mrs. Saringer, Chairman Intra-Governmental Relations and Legislation Committee re- <br />ported: 1) Committee met briefly this evening to discuss renewal of Board and <br />Commission Members whose terms end December 31, 1984. Mrs. Saringer moved Council <br />approve the renewals with one motion, second by Mr. O'Grady. Mrs. Petrigac stated <br />that she would like to do a little research before voting since she has noticed that <br />both Mr. Mongello and P4r. Cavaluchi have missed a number of meetings; also, feels <br />there is a conflict of interest in Mr. Mongello's case. Mrs. Petrigac moved to <br />divide the question, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />Mrs. Saringer moved Council approve the following appointments to the Architectural <br />Review Board, term January 1, 1985 through December 31, 1986, second by Mr.. O'Grady. <br />Marie Case, unanimously approved. <br />Richard Mongello, Affirmative vote: O'Grady, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Negative vote: Bierman, Petrigac. 4 Aye - 2 Nay - Motion carried. <br />Stanley Ebin, unanimously approved. <br />John Cavaluchi, Affirmative vote: O'Grady, Saringer, Tallon, ?Jilamosky. <br />Negative vote: Bierman, Petrigac. 4 Aye - 2 Play - Motion carried. <br />Mrs. Saringer moved Council approve the appointment of Bernard Schulz to the Board <br />of Building Code Appeals, term January 1, 1985 through December 31, 1989, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. <br />Mrs. Saringer moved Council approve the full®wing appointment to the Human Re- <br />sources Advisory Board, term January 1, 1985 through December 31, 1989, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady: <br />Henry Becker, unanimously approved. <br />Beverly Ingram, unanimously approved. <br />Mrs. Saringer moved Council approve the following appointment to the Planning <br />Commission, term January 1, 1985 through December 31, 1989, second by Mr. O'Grady: <br />Brian Gorris, unanimously approved. <br />Eileen Traczyk, unanimously approved. <br />2) Parks and Recreation Commission Meeting was held on December 11th. Mr. Couts was <br />given approval to bid on a school bus and it was purchased for $330 - $272 coming <br />from the Service Department and the remainder from the Department of Human Resources. <br />3) During the holidays, the ice rink w~.ll be open from 1 until 4:30 P.M. for public <br />skating during the week and 1 to 3:00 P.M. on weekends; no sessions December 24th and <br />25th. <br />4) Complex is hosting a four day holiday hockey clinic. <br />5) Ice Blossom's show committee is proceeding with plans for the Spring show entitled <br />"Can't Stop Dancing". Volunteers are welcome. <br />6) Plans are again being made to have a live band since the skating session on November <br />21st was a big success. <br />7) Registration for Learn to Skate opens Saturday, December 22nd. <br />8) North Olmsted Varsity Team will have a big meet on December 31st against Mayfield. <br />9) Registrations are now being taken for gymnastics, excercise, Learn to Skate, etc. <br />Contact Rec Center. <br />
