Council Minutes o£ 11~20~84 -6-
Mr. Bierman stated that he noticed a brochure from Great Lakes Construction, in the
lobby of City Hall, dealing with the relocation of Route 252. Will residents have
to come to City Hall to pick up a copy or will the contractor mail them out? Mayor
stated that he could not say; he believed there had been a house-to-house distribu-
tion by the contractor; this is something the contractor is doing; Mayor will check
into it and advise.
Mrs. Petrigac reported a bad ceiling leak in the back caucus room; what was the
problem? Mayor replied it had been taken care of. In cleaning out the gutter,
someone walked in the gutter portion which caused some of the flashing to slip and
water got in under the displaced flashing.
Mrs. Petrigac thanked everyone who participated, and in spite of the terrible weather,
made the Memorial Service on Veterans' Day a success; special thanks to Commissioner
Gorsuch and City Engineer Schaller.
Under New Business:
Mr. Tallon reported several phone calls with respect to the Dover Road Project;
residents are getting very upset that they cannot get into their own driveways and
are using neighbor's driveways; neighbor's are getting upset with the other resi-
dents parking and blocking their drives. *ir. Tallon referred the callers to City
Hall to make sure the State Representative was contacted. Mayor advised that this
problem should be resolved; thinks the concrete has been poured. City is working
with the County Engineer but weather conditions are going to have some effect and
will lengthen the project.
Mrs. Petrigac reminded Council that there would be an Ad Hoc Planning Committee
Meeting at 7 P.M., prior to the next Council Meeting on December 4th. Also,
scheduled a Transportation Committee for Monday, November 26th at 8 o'clock.
There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting at
8:55 P.M.
lorence E. Campbell, erk of Council awes D. Boehmer, President of Council
i
