' Council Minutes of 10/16/84 <br />-3- <br />Audience participation: <br />Mrs. Rita Limpert, 23810 Maple Ridge Road, asked what had happened to the City <br />flag. If it will not be displayed in the new Council Chambers, she would like <br />to .have it since it was designed by her daughter in 1965 and has sentimental value <br />to the family. Director Corrigan will find out where the flag is and report back. <br />Mr. Robert Brookshire, 5140 Hampton Drive, stated he has been watching the Demo- <br />cratic Party in North Olmsted dwindle down to the point where it is basically <br />losing the control it had, due to the rumors and innuendoes with respect to <br />Mayor Swietyniowski. Asked the Mayor if he would take a lie detector test to <br />clear the air o.f these accusations. Mayor Swietyniowski did not respond; <br />President Boehmer said that since an investigation is underway by the North <br />Olmsted Ethics Commission, there should be no discussion at this time. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 84-43 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to administrative and super- <br />visory personnel employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring <br />an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 84-43 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-84 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the compensation to be paid to all hourly employees <br />employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 84-84 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-86 introduced by Mr. ~dilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance consenting to the maintenance and repair of certain streets and roads <br />by the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />84-86 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-87 introduced by Mr. ?Jilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,000 tons of cinders and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, <br />unanimously approved. Resolution No. 84-87 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-88 introduced by Mr. [+lilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing user charges for the use of wastewater treatment services <br />of the North Olmsted Sewage Treatment Utility, and declaring an emergency, as <br />amended.
