• ~ Council Minutes of 10/16/84
-6-
Mrs. Petrigac reported that people with asthma problems, living on Canterbury Road,
,~'°" are complaining about the dust; can something be done - perhaps by sprinkling.
~'' Mayor stated that the existing asphalt is being ground up; if it were sprayed, it
would get very slippery. Resurfacing will start very quickly and should be done
within the week. Director Corrigan stated that the dust is being caused by the
process of flaking the surface and roto-planing it, not by traffic; injecting
water into the flaking process is not feasible. Does not feel there is enough
dust being generated to justify wetting down the street.
Mr. T+Iilamosky moved to excuse the absence of Mr. Rademaker, second by Mrs. Petrigac,
unanimously approved.
There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting
at 9:05 P.M.
lorence E.
