<br />MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COUNCIL
<br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED
<br />SEPTEMBER 4, 1984
<br />Present: President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, O'Grady, Petrigac,
<br />Rademaker, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky.
<br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniowski, Law Director Michael Gareau, Finance
<br />Director Edward Boyle, Clerk of Council Florence Campbell.
<br />Meeting was called to order by President Boehmer at 8:15 P.M.
<br />Members of the audience were invited to join Members of Council in reciting the
<br />Pledge of Allegiance.
<br />Minutes of the Regular Council Meeting of July 3, 1984, were approved as amended:
<br />Page Four, Audience Participation, Michael Gareau's comments: dates should read
<br />"1985" and "January I, 1986", not "1975" and "January 1, 1975".
<br />Minutes of Special Council Meeting of July 12, 19$4, were approved.
<br />Minutes of Special Council ,Meeting of July 14, 1984; were approved.
<br />Minutes of Regular Council Meeting of July 17, 1984, were approved.
<br />Minutes of Special Council Meeting of July 30, 1984, were approved.
<br />Minutes of Sepcial Council Meeting of July 31, 1984, were approved.
<br />Minutes of Special Council Meeting of August 14, 1984, were approved.
<br />Minutes of Special Council Meeting of August 23, 1984, were approved.
<br />President Boehmer announced that Ordinance Nos. 84-79 and 84-80, cancellation of.
<br />special assessments, had been added to the agenda.
<br />Mark Principe, Member of Boy Scout Troop No. 53, presented a report of a community
<br />survey he compiled in working to achieve his Eagle Scout Award; presented copies
<br />of his findings to Council Members and Mayor Swietyniowski.
<br />Mr. O'Grady, Chairman Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee moved Council
<br />approve the issuance of an F2 liquor permit for The Committee to Eleet Ed Boyle
<br />Finance Director, 29271 Lorain Road, on October 5, 1984, second by Mr. Wilamosky,
<br />unanimously approved.
<br />Mr. Tallon, Chairman Building, Zoning and Development Committee reported that BZD
<br />Committee met on Wednesday, August 21, 1984, and discussed the following:
<br />a. Church of St. Clarence, 30106 Lorain Road, proposal to construct
<br />Phase 2, proposed addition; approved by ARB and Planning Commission. Mr. Tallon
<br />moved Council approve said addition, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved.
<br />b. Standard Oil Company, 23425 Lorain Road, proposal to demolish and
<br />rebuild station on site; approved by ARB and Planning Commission. Mr. Tallon moved
<br />Council approve said proposal, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved.
<br />c. North Olmsted Veterinary Hospital, 23537 Lorain Road, exterior
<br />alteration to existing building; approved by ARB and Planning Commission. Mr. Tallon
<br />moved Council approve said alteration, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved.
<br />d. Kacirek Funeral Home, 29060 Lorain Road, proposal to construct
<br />addition; approved by ARB and Planning Commission. Mr. Tallon moved Council approve
<br />said addition, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved.
