Pat Bahas, 4126 Fielding; <br />Mr. Michael Gareau, 6050 Barton Road; Mrs. Fran Grgetich, 26527 Sweetbriar; <br />Mr. James Logan, 25415 Clubside Drive; Mr. John Fairfield, Rocky River; <br />Mr. Joseph Corrigan, 6369 Brighton Drive; Mrs. Gemma Szabo, 30837 Bradley Road, <br />discussed Ordinance No. 84-64, the elimination of staggered legislative and <br />administrative terms of office and Ordinance No. $4-65, the forfeiture of office <br />of elected officials or administrative position under certain circumstances. <br />Mrs. Pat Sauer, 25300 Country Club Boulevard, Unit 15, discussed the resurfacing <br />of Country Club Boulevard currently underway. <br />Mr. Edward Rybnicek, 4587 Georgette Avenue, discussed the stop sign at Georgette <br />and Elm and the need for enforcement. <br />Mrs. Lois Debrodt, 23141 Stoneybrook, discussed the need for repaving Stoneybrook; <br />flag replacement on Lorain Road for Homecoming Weekend; money to be budgeted for <br />Community Affairs for paying Homecoming expenses. <br />Mr. Eugene Sampson, 5801 Fitch Road, discussed drainage problems in the area. <br />Mr. Bill Lackey, 57$2 Burns Road, Midway Chairman of Homecoming, thanked the many <br />people who made this year's Homecoming so successful; especially the outstanding <br />cooperation received from Rec Complex Manager, Jerry Couts. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 83-92 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 163.02 of the Codified Ordinances entitled "Director <br />and Employees" of Chapter 163 entitled "Department of Human Resources". Mrs. <br />Petrigac moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman. Roll call on motion: <br />Affirmative vote: Bierman, Petrigac, Rademaker. Negative vote.: O'Grady, Saringer, <br />Tallon, Wilamosky. 3 Aye - 4 Nay - Motion failed. Ordinance No. 83-92 defeated. <br />Ordinance No. $4-64 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac and Mrs. Saringer was given its <br />third reading. An ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the <br />City of North Olmsted of a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of North <br />Olmsted by providing for a new section relating to the elimination of staggered <br />legislative and administrative terms of office and providing for the terms of <br />office for all elected officials, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Petrigac moved <br />for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: <br />Bierman, Petrigac, Saringer. Negative vote: O'Grady, Rademaker, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />3 Aye - 4 Nay - Motion failed. Ordinance No. 84-64 defeated. <br />Ordinance No. 84-57 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the City to "pick-up" employee contributions to the Ohio Public <br />Employees Retirement System (PERS). Mr. Wilamosky asked that this legislation not <br />be placed on the agenda for third reading until further notice. <br />Ordinance No. 84-59 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the City to "pick-up" employee contributions to the Ohio <br />Police and Firemens' Disability and Pension Fund (PFDPF). Mr. Wilamosky moved to <br />table Ordinance No. 84-59, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance <br />No. 84-59 tabled. <br />
