,. „ . <br />Council Minutes of 9/4/$4 -3- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 84-65 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted <br />of a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted by providing <br />for a new section relating to the forfeiture of offioe of elected officials or <br />administrative position under certain circumstances, and declaring an emergency, <br />as amended. Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend Ordinance No. 84-65 by striking, in its <br />entirety, Mrs. Petrigac's previous amendment on August 14, 1984, second by Mr. <br />O'Grady. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: O'Grady, Tallon, Wilamosky. <br />Negative vote: Bierman, Petrigac, Rademaker, Beringer. 3 Aye - 4 Nay - Motion <br />failed. Ordinance No. 84-65 remains as read on second reading. <br />Resolution No. 84-77 introduced by Mr. Bierman on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the public <br />service of Captain Raymond A. Brow. Mr. Bierman moved for suspension of rule re- <br />quiring three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Bierman <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution <br />No. 84-77 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-78 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />50,000 gallons of sodium aluminate for use by the North Olmsted Wastewater <br />Treatment Facilities Plant. <br />Ordinance No. 84-79 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the cancellation of special assessments on <br />certain permanent parcels. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 84-79 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-80 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the cancellation of special assessments on <br />certain permanent parcels. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 84-80 adopted. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac reminded Council of the Ad Hoc Planning Committee Meeting on Thursday, <br />September 13, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. Bierman scheduled a Long Range Planning Committee Meeting for Thursday, September <br />13th, at 7 o'clock and requested Service Director Corrigan to be in attendance. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a BZD Committee Meeting for Thursday, September 27th, at <br />7:30 P.M. <br />President Boehmer announced that a Special Meeting of Council would be held on <br />Thursday, September 6th, at 8 o'clock, to discuss sewer rates. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting <br />at 10:10 P.M. <br /> <br />orence amp a er o ounci ames D.
