.. <br /> <br />Minutes of Special Council Meeting of 8/23/84 -2- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 84-75 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given, its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 84-70 entitled, "an ordinance providing <br />for the issuance and sale of $75,000 notes, in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, <br />to pay costs of acquiring and installing telephone equipment and necessary appurten- <br />ances thereto for use by the City, and declaring an emergency", and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, <br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky. moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 84-75 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-76 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 3 of Ordinance No. 84-71 entitled, "an ordinance providing <br />for the issuance and sale of $54,000 notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds, <br />for the purpose of acquiring motor vehicles for the Department of Public Safety, and <br />declaring an emergency", and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by.Mr. Tallon, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 84-76 adopted. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved Council excuse the absence of President Boehmer, Councilman O'Grady <br />and Councilwoman Petrigac, second by r4r.
