<br />Council Minutes of 4/3/84 -4- <br />5) Mr. Tallon moved Council approve plans for the Pheasant Walk Subdivision, north <br />of Lorain and east of Wellesley Avenue as per recommendations of the Planning <br />Commission, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />6) Committee discussed amending Ordinance No. 83-137, rear yard setback as well as <br />an apparent typographical error in the ordinance covering sewer connection sizes. <br />Legislation will be forthcoming. <br />Mr. Wilamosky, Chairman Finance Committee as well as Streets and Drainage Committee <br />reported: 1) Finance Committee met on March 19th and March 22nd primarily to dis- <br />cuss the appropriation ordinance which has already been passed by Council. <br />2) Committee also discussed Ordinance No. 83-128 which, if adopted, would create a <br />Youth Program Fund. In concert with Finance Director, Committee's conclusion is <br />that at this time the legislation is not necessary. <br />Audience participation: <br />Mrs. Betty Lord, 5917 Gareau Drive; Mr. Robert Hunter, Butternut Ridge Road, and <br />Mrs. Lois Van Auken, 5149 Berkshire Drive, requested Council to reconsider Ordin- <br />ance No. 83-96 and provide $300 for a paid secretary for Landmarks Commission. <br />Mrs. Ethel Houser, Vice President of the Board of King's Path, 25735 Lorain Road, <br />Apt. 511 asked that Ordinance No. 84-32 be removed from the agenda because the <br />property owners were not notified of the plans for the Bob Evans Restaurant. <br />Mr. Robert Stark, owner 7.ayre/Rini Shopping Center, stated his objections to <br />Ordinance No. 84-32 which would rezone Parcel No. 236-2-2 and allow the con- <br />struction of a Bob Evans Restaurant on this parcel. <br />Ms. Pat Sauer, 25300 Country Club Boulevard, Unit 15, discussed the terrible con- <br />diton of Country Club Boulevard and asked when repairs would be started. Mayor <br />Swietyniowski advised that repairs of the street, as well as drainage, would be <br />started within two weeks; road will be closed on one side at a time. <br />Mr. Art Rosenberg, 24033 Ambour Drive, complained of water in back of Ambour Drive; <br />dogs running loose and soiling his property; tennis nets not being erected in <br />Clague Park yet; bad conditions with traffic on Clague Road and inequities in <br />salary of referee/timekeeper and referee by Recreation Commission. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 83-128 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance creating a new fund, adding to the financial structure of the City of <br />North Olmsted, a fund known as the Youth Program Fund, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac. Roll call on motion; <br />Affirmative vote: Bierman, Petrigac, Rademaker. Negative vote: O'Grady, Saringer, <br />Tallon, Wilamosky. 3 Aye - 4 Nay - Motion defeated. Ordinance No. 83-128 not adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-15 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance increasing the Administrative Petty Cash Fund from Fifty Dollars ($50.00) to <br />One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00). Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 84-15 adopted. <br />Resolution No 84-10 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for one <br />(1) Jet Vac cleaning machine and one (1) one-ton flat bed truck with power lift gate <br />and dump bed for use at the Wastewater Treatment Facilities Plant, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency, as amended. <br /> <br />
