<br />Council Minutes of 4/3/84 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 84-33 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the achievement <br />of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Mrs. Petrigac moved for suspension of rule <br />requiring three readings, second by Mr. Wila~sky, unanimously approved. Mrs. Petrigac <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution No. <br />84-33 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-34 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />sweeping of all streets in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings and referral to <br />committee, second by Mrs. Saringer. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: O'Grady, <br />Petrigac, Rademaker, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Bierman. 6 Aye - <br />1 Nay - Motion carried. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer, <br />unanimously approved. Resolution No. 84-34 adopted. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs.. Petrigac discussed the many duties the secretary to the Landmarks Commission <br />must perform and the many hours spent in completing these duties; asked that someone <br />on the prevailing side move to reconsider Ordinance No. 83-96. President Boehmer and <br />Councilman Rademaker agreed with Mrs. Petrigac's remarks and supported her request <br />for reconsideration of the ordinance. No one on the prevailing side would ask for <br />reconsideration. Mrs. Petrigac then stated that she would accept the offer previously <br />made by Mayor Swietyniowski to provide a secretary to Landmarks Commission from present <br />Administrative personnel. Would expect the person appointed by the Mayor to start <br />covering the Landmarks Commission meetings as of April 19th, 1984. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Bierman scheduled a Long Range Planning Committee Meeting for April 10th at <br />8:00 P.M., to discuss Block Grant funds. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a BZD Committee Meeting for April 26, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Finance Committee Meeting for April 9th at 7:30 P.M. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting at <br />10:00 P.M. <br />Florence E.
