Council Minutes of 3/6/84 <br />-5- <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for March 14th. at 7x30 P.M. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a BZD Committee Meeting for March 22nd at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mrs. Petrigac scheduled a Recreation Committee meeting, immediately following the <br />Legislative Committee meeting on March 14th. Since the meeting is called for the <br />purpose of discussing the Recreation Budget, would ask Safety Director Petre and <br />Rec Complex Director Couts to 6e in attendance. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Finance Committee Meeting for Monday, March 12th, at <br />7:30 P.M, and requested the Mayor, Finance Director, Service Director and Budget <br />and :Management Director to tie in attendance. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked if the ordinance regarding the shoveling of sidewalks was not <br />complied with., whose fault would it be if people were injured because they were <br />forced to walk in the street, especially concerning City property. Law Director <br />declined to give an opinion at this time because the question was merely speculative. <br />Mrs. Petrigac commented that many senior citizens live in apartments along Columbia <br />Road and simply could not walk to local stores and restaurants because of un- <br />shoveled walks. She had many phone calls. Safety Director asked that these kind <br />of phone calls be referred to his office; there is a follow up on this kind of <br />complaint both by telepfiane and letter as well as by personal visits. <br />There tieing no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting at <br />9:10 P.M. <br />Florence E.
