Law Director advised tfiat "and declaring an emergency"
should be removed from the titles in both pieces of legislation.
Mrs. Petrigac stated that in 1478/79, North Olmsted was one of the first communities
to really take a stand with respect to airport noise and traffic. At that time,
Mr. Zurawski was appointed to represent North Olmsted at the ANCLUC meetings and
then the Mayor had appointed Service Director Corrigan to be his replacement on that
Board. Although the meetings have continued, North Olmsted is no longer represented.
Mayor stated he would look into this; has no .material on ANCLUC meetings at all;
there is another group that has Been formed. Mayor stated he would send all of
Council a copy of the ANCLUC sheduled meetings. Will send someone from Administration
to attend the meetings; perhaps Members of Council would like to attend. President
Boehmer asked that Council be informed about both groups.
Under New Business:
Mr. Bierman scheduled a Long Range Planning Committee Meeting for Tuesday, March
13th at 7:30 P.M, and requested the attendance of Director Copeland.
