council Minutes q~ 2r21~84 -7- <br />Under New Business (cont'd): <br />Mrs. Saringer reported that she had two requests for street lighting, one on Porter <br />Road, 4196, and one on Bradley Road, north to ?aestlake. Mayor stated the requests <br />would be taken into consideration, <br />Mrs. Saringer also asked the Administration to look into the possibility of erecting <br />a sign on Lorain Road, near Dover Center Road, indicating the direction to Horizon <br />School. <br />Mrs. Petrigac stated that some time ago, a request had been made for "Curve - Slow" <br />signs to be placed on Porter Road, approaching the curve at Mill Road. There have <br />been several accidents in this area. Mayor Swietyniowski stated that he would take <br />care of this request. <br />Mr. Bierman commended Service Director Corrigan and the Service Department staff <br />for the tremendous job they have done on street repairs considering the bad weather. <br />Mr. Wilamosky advised that he has had assurances from the Service Department with <br />respect to the appearance of Hastings due to the parking of the construction employees' <br />automobiles and equipment, both on the east and west side of Hastings, but he wants <br />it on record that the contractor be put on notice, if he has not yet been put on <br />notice, that the City expects both the east and west sides of Hastings to be totally <br />repaired and sodded upon completion of the project. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting at <br />9:30 P.M. <br />to . <br />lorence E.
