<br />Council Minutes of 12/17/85 -4- <br />~ LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 85-123 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance designating that portion of relocated Route 252, which lies <br />between Country Club Boulevard m the north and Butternut Ridge Road on the <br />south, as "Great Northern Boulevard". Mr. Bierman moved for adoption, second <br />by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-123 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 85-124 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. <br />A resolution approving the "Umbrella Non-Profit Corporation" concept pro- <br />posed by the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency for obtaining <br />Section 16(b) (2) funding for the purchase of paratransit vehicles and in- <br />dicating a willingness and desire on the part of the City of North Olmsted <br />to secure a seat on the policy board of said corporation. Mrs. Petrigac <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Resolution <br />No. 85-124 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-127 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of <br />a water main for the purpose of supplying water service by the City of <br />Cleveland to the Jamestown Village Apartments (Phase VI), and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unani- <br />mously approved. Ordinance No. 85-127 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-129 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into contracts for the deposit <br />of public monies with the institutions designated by council as depositories <br />for the active and interim accounts of the city, as amended. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon. Roll call on motion: Affirmative <br />vote: O'Grady, Petrigac, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. Abstained: Bierman. <br />5 Aye - 1 Abstention - Motion carried. Ordinance No. 85-129 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-38 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 351.18 of Chepter 351 of the Codified Ordinances <br />of the City of North Olmsted, entitled "Parking Generally", to provide for <br />an increased penalty for violating Section 351.20 entitled, "Handicapped <br />Parking", as amended. Mrs. Petrigac moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on motion: Affirmative <br />vote: Bierman, O'Grady, Petrigac, Saringer, Tallon. Negative vote: Wilamosky. <br />5 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Mrs. Petrigac moved for adoption, second <br />by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, O'Grady, <br />Petrigac, Saringer, Tallon. Negative vote: Wilamosky. 5 Aye - 1 Nay - <br />Motion carried.
