Council Minutes of 11/19/85 _4_ <br />~' LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 85-114 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,500 tons of road salt and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 85-114 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 85-115 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second <br />reading. A resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the <br />Cuyahoga County General Health District for the year 1986, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings <br />and referral to committee, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 85-115 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-116 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of a water <br />main for the purpose of supplying water service by the City of Cleveland to the <br />Christ the King Community, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-117 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance accepting an easement for the installation and maintenance of a water <br />main for the purpose of circulating water by the City of Cleveland to the Christ <br />the King Community, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-118 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading, An <br />ordinance accepting a sanitary sewer easement located on property occupied by <br />the Great Northern Technology Park Building, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-121 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City, to extend <br />the existing agreement with BFI for a one (1) year period for refuse pickup <br />within the City, and declaring an emertency. <br />Resolution No. 85-122 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for and <br />accept bids for the rewiring of the North Olmsted Community Cabin, as detailed <br />in the rewiring of the North Olmsted Community Cabin Sepcif ications on file, <br />and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-123 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance designating that portion of relocated Route 252, which lies between <br />Country Club Boulevard on the north and Butternut Ridge Road on the south, as <br />"Great Northern Boulevard". Referred to Transportation. <br />Resolution No. 85-124 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its first reading. <br />A resolution approving the "Umbrella Non-Profit Corporation" concept proposed <br />by the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency for obtaining Section 16(b) (2) <br />funding for the purchase of paratransit vehicles and indicating a willingness and <br />desire on the part of the City of North Olmsted to secure a seat on the policy <br />board of said corporation.
