<br />~"" Ordinance No. 85-98 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. An
<br />ordinance providing for the submission to the electors of the City of North Olmsted
<br />of a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted relating to the
<br />establishment of a council rule providing for minority representation on Standing
<br />Committees of Council, as recommended by the Charter Review Com~tission, and declaring
<br />an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings,
<br />second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, O`Grady,
<br />Petrigac, Rademaker, Saringer, Tallon. Negative vote: Wilamosky. 6 Aye - 1 Nay -
<br />Motion carried. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady. Ro11 call
<br />on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, O'Grady, Petrigac, Rademaker, Saringer.
<br />Negative vote: Tallon, Wilamosky. 5 Aye - 2 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No.
<br />85-98 adopted.
<br />Ordinance No. 85-99 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An
<br />ordinance authorizing and directing the cancellation of special assessments on
<br />certain permanent parcels, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for
<br />suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously
<br />approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved.
<br />Ordinance No. 85-99 adopted.
<br />Before moving from the legislation portion of the agenda, Mr. Wilamosky asked, if
<br />there were no objections from Council, to move back in the agenda to Ordinance Nos.
<br />85-88, 85-89 and 85-90. Council had no objection.
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings on Ordinance No.
<br />85-88, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption,
<br />second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-88 adopted.

<br />85-87, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Bierman moved for adoption,

<br />Under Old Business:
<br />Since the Mayor had vetoed Ordinance No. 85-51 and Article III, Section 5 (b) of
<br />the Charter of the City of North Olmsted states that "the Council shall, not later
<br />than the next regular meeting, proceed to reconsider it...", Mr. Bierman moved for
<br />adoption of Ordinance No. 85-51, second by Mr. Rademaker. Roll call on motion:
<br />Affirmative vote: Bierman, Rademaker, Saringer. Negative vote: O'Grady, Petrigac,
<br />Tallon, Wilamosky. 3 Aye - 4 Nay - Motion failed. Mayor's veto stands.
<br />Mrs. Saringer moved for reconsideration of Ordinance No. 84-120; the unamended ordin-
<br />ance was the one passed in error and signed; second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved
<br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings an Ordinance
<br />No. 84-120, as amended, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky
<br />moved for adoption, as amended, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved.
