<br />MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE COUNCIL
<br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED
<br />JULY 9, 1985
<br />Present: President James Boehmer, Councilmen Bierman, O'Grady, Petrigac,
<br />Saringer, Tallon.
<br />Also present: Mayor Robert Swietyniowski, Finance Director Edward Boyle,
<br />Clerk of Council Florence Campbell.
<br />Absent: Councilmen Rademaker and Wilamosky.
<br />Special Council Meeting was called to order by President Boehmer at 7:30 P.M.,
<br />in Council Chambers, 5200 Dover Center Road.
<br />LEGISLATION:
<br />Ordinance No. 85-75 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An
<br />ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $4,000,000 bonds for the purpose
<br />of paying costs of improving the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Facilities and re-
<br />habilitating and reconstructing sanitary sewers, sanitary sewer connections, pump
<br />stations and manholes and installing water-tight manhole inserts, where necessary,
<br />all together with the necessary appurtenances thereto. Mr. O'Grady moved for
<br />adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-75 adopted.
<br />Mr. Tallon moved Finance Director Boyle present a Fiscal Officer's Certificate with
<br />respect to Ordinance No. 85-79, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved.
<br />Finance Director presented said Fiscal Officer's Certificate to Council.
<br />Ordinance No. 85-79 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading.
<br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $3,050,000 bonds for the pur-
<br />pose of constructing, furnishing and equipping a combined Bus Garage, Service
<br />Garage and Municipal Administration Building and improving the site thereof, and
<br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of rule requiring three
<br />readings, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for
<br />adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-79
<br />adopted.
<br />Mr. Tallon moved Finance Director Boyle present a Fiscal Officer's Certificate with
<br />respect to Ordinance No. 85-80, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved.

<br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $480,000 bonds for the purpose
<br />of improving Gessner Road and Barton Road between certain termini by grading,
<br />draining, resurfacing with. asphaltic concrete, installing driveway culverts and re-
<br />constructing berms and driveway aprons, together with the necessary appurtenances
<br />thereto, and Elder Drive, Magnolia Drive, Spruce .Drive, Aspen Drive, Holly Drive,
<br />Cyprus Drive and Maplehurst Road between certain termini by reconstructing curbs,
<br />catch basins and the pavement base, where necessary, and resurfacing with asphaltic
<br />concrete, together with the necessary appurtenances thereto, and declaring an
<br />emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings,
<br />second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption,
<br />second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-80 adopted.
