a ~ <br />Special Council Minutes of .7/9/85 -Z- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Mr. Tallon moved Finance Director Boyle present a Fiscal Officer's Certificate with <br />respect to Ordinance No. 85-81, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. <br />Finance Director presented said Fiscal Officer's Certificate to Council. <br />Ordinance No. 85-81 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $350,000 bonds for the purpose <br />of purchasing trucks, automobiles and other motorized equipment, together with the <br />necessary appurtenances thereto, for various departments of the city, and declar- <br />ing an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon waved for adoption, second <br />by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-81 adopted. <br />Mr. Tallon moved Finance Director Boyle present a Fiscal Officer's Certificate with <br />respect to Ordinance No. 85-82, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. <br />Finance Director presented said Fiscal Officer's Certificate to Council. <br />Ordinance No. 85-82 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $120,000 bonds for the pur- <br />pose of acquiring motor vehicles and equipment for the Department of .Public Safety, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Tallon moved for <br />adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-82 <br />adopted. <br />Mr. Tallon moved Finance Director Boyle present a Fiscal Officer's Certificate with <br />respect to Ordinance No. 85-83, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved; presented. <br />Ordinance No. 85-83 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $75,000 bonds to pay costs of <br />acquiring and installing telephone equipment and necessary appurtenances thereto <br />for use by the city, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 85-83 adopted. <br />Mr. Bierman moved to excuse the absence of Councilmen Rademaker and Wilamosky, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Special Council <br />Meeting at 7:45 P.M. <br />Florence E.
