Council Minutes of 7/2/85 -5- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />~" Ordinance No. 85-75 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />~r ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of $4,000,000 bonds for the purpose <br />of paying costs of improving the Municipal Sanitary Sewerage System by improving and <br />expanding the Municipal Wastewater Treatment Facilities and rehabilitating and re- <br />constructing sanitary sewers, sanitary sewer connections, pump stations and manholes <br />and installing water-tight manhole inserts, where necessary, all together with the <br />necessary appurtenances thereto. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-76 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />A resolution adopting the budget of the City of North Olmsted for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 1986, and submitting the same to the County Auditor, and <br />declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-77 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the organization and composition of the non-uniform <br />personnel of the Police Department, together with salaries and various benefits <br />for said employees, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer reported many complaints over the past weekend with respect to low <br />water pressure at the west end of the city; asked what is causing this; thought <br />the cleaning of the water lines was supposed to help this problem. Mayor replied <br />that nothing will help the problem except to commit to looping that area at a cost <br />of approximately $1,000,000; cleaning the water line was necessary and had to be <br />done but it is not the answer; also, we have had a very dry June. <br />Mrs. Petrigac discussed some items on the last revenue report, as of May 31st, <br />which were not clear to her. Since Finance Director Boyle did not have a copy of <br />this report with him, he was not able to answer the questions being asked but will <br />look into them and send Mrs. Petrigac a written explanation. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer scheduled a Legislative Committee Meeting for July 11th at 8 P.M. <br />Mr. Bierman wished the Members of Council, the Administration and the audience, a <br />happy and a safe Fourth of July. <br />Mr. O'Grady presented a petition from the <br />to street lighting on David Drive. Also, <br />Thursday, July 11th, at 7:30 P.M. <br />Roman Gardens condominiums with respect <br />scheduled a Safety Committee Meeting for <br />Mrs. Petrigac reminded Council of the Ad Hoc Planning Committee Meeting on July 15th, <br />itmrtediately following the Special Council Meeting at 7:30 P.M. <br />Mr. Tallon scheduled a BZD Committee Meeting on July 15th, immediately following the <br />Special Council Meeting at 7:30 P.M. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting <br />at 9:30 P.M. <br />lorence E.
