Council Minutes of 5/7/85
-~-
by providing van transportation, due to the kindness of Kiwanis. Under the tax
~"° agreements, the proposal submitted to the electorate for a 1' tax, RTA was
~" obligated to provide CRT for seniors and elderly. Mr. Wilamosky feels it is time
that the Council submits a resolution to RTA and demand CRT instead of again
dipping into the coffers of the three communities involved in the proposal to
purchase a new van. This new plan may not be a bad program but he would like to
emphasize his dissatisfaction with the number of CRT vehicles provided to North
Olmsted - which happens to be NONE.
Mayor Swietyniowski announced that the meeting with McDonald and Company, immedi-
ately following tonight's council meeting, is open to the public.
Mrs. Petrigac scheduled a Transportation Committee Meeting for May 16th, Thurs-
day, at 7:15 P.M., to discuss Ordinance No. 85-33 and 85-38, and requested the
Safety Director to be in attendance.
Mr. O'Grady moved to excuse the absence of Councilwoman Saringer and Councilman
Tallon, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned by President Boehmer
at 9:50 P.M.
~~
lorence E.
