Council Minutes of .4/2./85 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 85-30 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for various <br />reflective traffic sign and roadway marking materials for use by the Service De- <br />partment, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and. declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 85-31 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to .advertise for bids for <br />2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs, and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 85-32 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for various <br />motor oils and lubricants for use by the Service Department Garage, and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 85-33 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted to <br />establish "No Parking" on Nantucket Drive, from Revere Drive to the cul-de-sac, <br />including the cul-de-sac. Referred to Transportation Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 85-34 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an <br />agreement with an architect for the purpose of renovation of the North Olmsted <br />Community Cabin, not to exceed $3,000.00, and declaring an emergency. Referred <br />to Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee. <br />Resolution No. 85-35 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for a <br />water coolant tower for the North Olmsted Recreation Center, and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Recreation <br />and Finance Committees. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac requested the Clerk of Council to send a letter of appreciation to <br />the Fire Department and Police Department, thanking them for recent tours and <br />demonstrations of safety equipment. <br />Mr. Tallon asked the Mayor what the status was with respect to the locks at the <br />far- end of the City Hall building; Mayor responded they were on order. <br />Mr. Bierman noted that recommendations for the rehabilitation of Community Cabin <br />have been made since 1976; up until fiscal year 1983, all suggestions for CDBG funds <br />were turned down. In 1984/85, because the Senior Center is attached to the Cabin <br />and is eligible for CDBG funds, the rewiring of the Cabin was approved. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac scheduled a combined Recreation and Long Range Planning Committee <br />meeting for April 9th at 7:00 P.M. Also, scheduled a Transportation Committee <br />Meeting for April 16th, at 7:00 P.M., just prior to council caucus. <br />Mr. O'Grady moved to excuse the absence of Mrs. Saringer, second by Mr. Bierman, <br />unanimously approved. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting <br />at 9:30 P.M, ~ ~ _ <br />it James D.
