Council Minutes of 4/2/85 <br />-5- <br />Mrs. Gemma Szabo, 30837 Bradley Road, asked why $4,800 of Revenue Sharing Funds <br />had to be used for repair of the shelter at Bradley/Barton Park; what was wrong; <br />this is a new building. Mr. Wilamosky advised that this expenditure was to <br />repair the metal, roof-type structure - the shelter, not the rest room facility. <br />Mr. Bill Lackey, 5782 Burns Road, on behalf of Community Council, thanked the <br />Mayor for the legislation to start work on refurbishing the Community Cabin; <br />thanked Mrs. Petrigac for including Community Council in the meeting to dis- <br />cuss these repairs. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 85-21 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition or <br />removal of the detached barn on Permanent Parcel No. 231-19-5, at 3691 Columbia <br />Road, in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady moved <br />for adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 85-21 <br />adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-22 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition or <br />removal of the detached barn/garage on Permanent Parcel No. 231-31-6, at 24262 <br />Lorain Road, in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. O'Grady <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />85-22 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 85-23 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Building Commissioner to proceed with the demolition or <br />removal of the three (3) detached structures on Permanent Parcel No. 234-10-3 at <br />30993 Lorain, in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring. an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady,~unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />85-23 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 85-25 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. A <br />resolution opposing the proposed Motor Vehicle Emissions Inspection and Maintenance <br />Program for the State of Ohio. <br />Resolution No. 85-26 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. A <br />resolution urging General Motors to locate its Saturn Division in Ohio, and further <br />urging it give Cuyahoga County preferable consideration. <br />Resolution No. 85-27 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of City streets, and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 85-28 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,500 gallons of highway and crosswalk paint for use by the Service Department, <br />and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 85-29 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading.
